    Scaled Printing 
    The procedure for printing a document with pages enlar ged or reduced is as follows: 
    1.Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Set scaled printing  
    Select Scaled from the Page Layout list on the Page  Setup tab. 
    3.Select the paper size for the data  
    Using Page Size, select the page size that is set with your application. 
    4.Set the scaling rate by using one of the following met hods: 
    Select a Printer Paper Size  
    W hen the printer paper size is smaller than the Page Size, the page image will be reduced.
    W hen the printer paper size is larger than the Page  Size, the page image will be enlarged. Page 271 of 877 pages

    							Specify a scaling factor  
    Directly type in a value into the Scaling box. 
    The current settings are displayed in the settings preview on the left side of the printer driver. 
    5.Complete the setup  
    Click OK. 
    W hen you execute print, the document will be printe d with the specified scale. 
    Important 
    W hen the application software with which you create d the original has the scaled printing function,
    configure the settings on your application software . You do not need to configure the same setting
    in the printer driver. 
    W hen Scaled is selected, the Staple Side list box a ppears grayed out and is unavailable (when
    Duplex Printing is not selected).

    Page Layout Printing 
    Page Layout Printing 
    The page layout printing function allows you to pri nt more than one page image on a single sheet of
    paper. 
    The procedure for performing page layout printing i s as follows: 
    1.Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Set page layout printing  
    Select Page Layout from the Page Layout list on the  Page Setup tab.
    The current settings are displayed in the settings  preview on the left side of the printer driver. 
    3.Select the print paper size  
    Select the size of the paper loaded in the machine  from the Printer Paper Size list.
    Setting the layout of two pages of the document fro m left to right is complete. 
    4.Set the number of pages to be printed on one sheet an d the page order 
    If necessary, click Specify..., specify the followi ng settings in the Page Layout Printing dialog box,  and

    							Pages  
    To increase the number of pages to be included on a single sheet of paper, select a desired
    number of pages from the list. 
    You can also set 2-Page Print or 4-Page Print on the Quick Setup tab. 
    Page Order 
    To change the page arrangement order, select an ico n from the list to change the page placement
    order.  
    Page Border  
    To print a page border around each document page, c heck this check box. 
    5.Complete the setup  
    Click OK on the Page Setup tab. 
    W hen you execute print, the specified number of pages will be arranged on each sheet of paper in
    the specified order.

    Poster Printing 
    Poster Printing 
    The poster printing function allows you to enlarge  image data, divide it into several pages, and print
    these pages on separate sheets of paper. W hen the p ages are pasted together, they form a large print
    like a poster. 
    The procedure for performing poster printing is as foll ows: 
    Setting Poster Printing 
    1.Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Set poster printing  
    Select Poster from the Page Layout list on the Page  Setup tab.
    The current settings are displayed in the settings  preview on the left side of the printer driver. 
    3.Select the print paper size  
    Select the size of the paper loaded in the machine  from the Printer Paper Size list.

    							4.Set the number of image divisions and the pages to be printed 
    If necessary, click Specify..., specify the followi ng settings in the Poster Printing dialog box, and  then
    click OK. 
    Image Divisions  
    Select the number of divisions (vertical x horizont al). As the number of divisions increases, the
    number of sheets used for printing increases, allowing yo u to create a larger poster. 
    Print Cut/Paste in margins 
    To leave out words Cut and Paste, uncheck this check bo x. 
    Important 
    This feature is unavailable when the 64-bit printer driver is used. 
    Print Cut/Paste lines in margins  
    To leave out cut lines, uncheck this check box.  
    Pages  
    To reprint only specific pages, enter the page numb er you want to print. To print multiple pages,
    specify by separating the pages with commas or entering a  hyphen between the page numbers. 
    Note 
    You can also specify the print range by clicking the pages in the settings preview. 
    5.Complete the setup  
    Click OK on the Page Setup tab. 
    W hen you execute print, the document will be divide d into several pages during printing.
    After all poster pages have been printed, paste the  pages together to create a poster. 
    Printing Only Specific Pages 
    If ink becomes faint or runs out during printing, you can reprint specific pages by following the proc edure
    below: 
    1.Set the print range  
    In the settings preview on the left of the Page Set up tab, click the pages that do not need to be
    printed. 
    The pages that were clicked are deleted, and only t he pages to be printed are displayed. Page 277 of 877 pages

    							Note 
    Click the deleted pages to display them again. 
    Right-click the settings preview to select Print all pages or Delete all pages. 
    2.Complete the setup  
    After completing the page selection, click OK. 
    W hen you execute print, only specified pages will b e printed. 
    Important 
    W hen Poster is selected, the Duplex Printing, Stapl e Side and Print from Last Page appear grayed
    out and are unavailable. 
    Since poster printing enlarges the document when printi ng it, the print results may become coarse.

    Booklet Printing 
    Booklet Printing 
    The booklet printing function allows you to print d ata for a booklet. Data is printed on both sides of the
    paper. This type of printing ensures that pages can  be collated properly, in page number order, when t he
    printed sheets are folded and stapled at the center . 
    The procedure for performing booklet printing is as fo llows: 
    1.Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Set booklet printing  
    Select Booklet from the Page Layout list on the Pag e Setup tab.
    The current settings are displayed in the settings  preview on the left side of the window. 
    3.Select the print paper size  
    Select the size of the paper loaded in the machine  from the Printer Paper Size list. 
    4.Set the margin for stapling and the margin width  
    Click Specify... and specify the following settings in the Booklet Printing dialog box, and then click

    							Margin for stapling  
    Select which side should the stapling margin be on when the booklet is completed. 
    Insert blank page  
    To leave one side of a sheet blank, check the check  box, and select the page to be left blank. 
    Margin  
    Enter the margin width. The specified width from th e center of the sheet becomes the margin width
    for one page.  
    Page Border  
    To print a page border around each document page, c heck the check box. 
    5.Complete the setup  
    Click OK on the Page Setup tab.  
    W hen you execute print, the document will be printed on one side of a sheet of paper. W hen the
    printing of one side is complete, set the paper cor rectly by following the message and click OK.
    W hen the printing of the other side is complete, fo ld the paper at the center of the margin and make
    a booklet. 
    Important 
    Booklet cannot be selected when a media type other  than Plain Paper is selected for Media Type. 
    W hen Booklet is selected, Duplex Printing, Staple Side, Print from Last Page, and Collate appear
    grayed out and are unavailable. 
    Note 
    The stamp and background are not printed on blank shee ts inserted with the Insert blank page
    function of booklet printing.
