    Unlike analog c\bannels, w\bic\b can vary in reception quality from “snowy” to clear, digital (HDTV) c\bannels \bave eit\ber perfect 
    reception quality or you will not receive t\bem at all. So, unlike analog c\bannels, you cannot fine tune a digital c\bannel.
    You can, \bowever, adjust your antenna to improve t\be reception of available digital c\bannels.

    If t\be TV is operating in a weak-signal area, sometimes t\be LNA function can improve t\be reception (a low-noise preamplifier boos ts

    • Choose “Movie” when viewing the movie.
    • Choose “Custom” if you want to adjust the settings acco%fding to pe%fsonal  p%fefe%fence (see “Customizing the Pictu%fe Settings”, page 41).

    You can use t\be on-screen menus to c\bange t\be “Contrast”, “Brig\btness”, “S\barpness”, “Color”,  “Tint”, and “Color Tone”

    You can select only the 16:9, 4:3 and Wide %bit sc%feen sizes in the DTV Component (720p, 1080i) o%f HDMI (720p, 1080i) mode.
    When Double (       ,       ) mode has been set in PIP, the Pictu%fe Size cannot be set.
    When watching a DTV’s HD signal, you can use Wide %bit. Ho%fizontal  zoom (Wide %bit) sets the optical pictu%fe fo%fmat by expanding it both 
    ho%fizontally and ve%ftically. %bo%f example, you can %feset the pictu%fe in 
    4:3 fo%fmat to 16:9. Wide %bit does not suppo%ft all exte%fnal devices.
    To maintain scale in the Wide %bit mode, po%ftions of the pictu%fe on the top and bottom will be c%fopped.
    
    • 16:9 : Sets the pictu%fe to 16:9 wide mode.
    • Zoom1 : Magnifies the size of the pictu%fe on sc%feen. 
    • Zoom2 : Magnifies the size of the pictu%fe mo%fe than “Zoom1”. 
    • Wide %bit : Enla%fges the aspect %fatio of the pictu%fe to fit the enti%fe sc%feen.
    • 4:3 : Sets the pictu%fe to 4:3 no%fmal mode.

    T\bis TV includes t\be DNIe function so as to provide a \big\b visual quality. If you set DNIe to on, you can view t\be screen wit\b t\be 
    DNIe feature activated. If you set t\be DNIe to Demo, you can view t\be applied DNIe and normal pictures on t\be screen, for 
    demonstration purposes. Using t\bis function, you can view t\be difference in t\be visual quality.

    The DNle function is not suppo%fted in the Movie mode. (It is inactivated.)
    
    • Off  :  Switches off the DNIe mode.
    • Demo  :  The sc%feen befo%fe applying DNIe appea%fs on the left and the  sc%feen afte%f applying DNIe appea%fs on the %fight.
