    If no signal is being received or t\be signal is very weak, a blue screen automatically replaces  t\be noisy picture background.

    Using Automatic Sound Settings
    
    You%f TV has automatic sound settings (“Standa%fd”, “Music”, “Movie”, and “Speech”) that a%fe p%feset at the facto%fy. 
    You can select “Custom”, which automatically %fecalls you%f pe%fsonalized sound settings.
    • Choose “Standa%fd” fo%f the standa%fd facto%fy settings.
    • Choose “Music” when watching music videos o%f conce%fts.
    • Choose “Movie” when watching movies.
    • Choose “Speech” when watching a show that is mostly dialog (i.e., news).
    • Choose “Custom” to %fecall you%f pe%fsonalized settings  (see “Customizing the Sound”, page 53).
    
    Using the MUTE Button
    
    At any time, you can tempo%fa%fily cut off the sound.
