PIN Number: This option allows you to add, change, or remove a PIN number f or any phonebook that has been imported. Import: This option allows you to store the phonebook of your mobile phone in the HFT system. When you link your phone to the HFT system and select this option, the system will start importing and loading the phonebook. To use the mobile phonebook with the HFT system, say or select ‘‘Mobile Phonebook’’ f rom the Inf ormation screen. If any phonebook is not stored and your phone is not linked to the HFT system, Mobile Phonebook is grayed out. The navigation display will change as shown above. HFT system does not allow you to pair your phone if the vehicle is moving. Up to six phones can be paired to the HFT system. For inf ormation on linking to the HFT system, see page . You can import the phonebook of your mobile phone in the HFT system. Link your phone to the HFT system and select ‘‘Import’’ f rom the ‘‘Choose an option’’ screen. When the message ‘‘The import was successf ul.’’ is displayed, push in on the Interf ace Dial to select ‘‘OK.’’ Search: This option allows you to search the phone numbers stored in the HFT system. When you enter keyword f or a person’s name, such as the f irst name or last name, the system will f ind the number you want and let you make calls. Delete: This option allows you to delete the stored phonebook from the HFT system. When you link your phone to the HFT system and select this option, the system will automatically delete the phonebook of the linked phone f rom the HFT system (see page ). Enter the keyword f or a person’s name, such as the f irst name or last name, using the Interf ace Dial. If the system does not f ind an exact match, say or select ‘‘LIST’’ when you f inish entering the keyword. The system will display a list of person’s names, with the closest match to the name you entered at the top of the list. Select a phonebook f rom the displayed list. If the phonebook you select has a PIN icon, you will need the f our-digit PIN number to access the phonebook. The f ollowing screen will appear. Enter the PIN number to access the phonebook. You cannot access a PIN protected phonebook if you do not use the correct PIN number. You can search the stored number by entering keywords to make calls by using the HFT system. Select ‘‘Search’’ f rom the ‘‘Choose an option’’ screen. The display will change as shown above. To delete the imported phonebook To store in the BluetoothHands-Free Telephone System You can delete the stored phonebook f rom the HFT system. Link your phone to the HFT system and select ‘‘Delete’’ f rom the ‘‘Choose an option’’ screen. The display will change as shown above. Select a phonebook f rom the displayed list, then press ENTER. Say or select ‘‘STORE IN Hands- Free Telephone’’ f rom the ‘‘Choose a number to call’’ screen. The screen shown above will appear. Select the desired number f rom the list to store it in the HFT system. Af ter selecting a person, the system will display a list of the person’s phone numbers. After the beep, say ‘‘Clear.’’ The HFT system response is, ‘‘This process will clear all paired phones, clear all entries in the phonebook, and clear the password and restore the defaults in the system setup. Is this what you would like to do?’’ This operation clears the HFT system of your password, your paired phones, and all names in the HFT system phonebook. Clearing is recommended bef ore you sell your vehicle. Press and release the Talk button. Af ter the beep, say ‘‘System.’’ The HFT system response is, ‘‘System options are setup and clear.’’ Enteryournewfour-digitPIN number. Name tags that were stored while in another language will not be accessible in French mode. Would you like to continue?’’, then the system repeats the response in the currently selected language. For example, change f rom English to French. Press and release the Talk button. Af ter the beep, say ‘‘Change language.’’ The HFT system response is ‘‘English, French, Italian, German, or Spanish ’’ Press and release the Talk button. After the beep, say ‘‘Paul’s phone’’ in the selected language. The HFT system response is, ‘‘What is the French name for Pat’s phone ?’’ Press and release the Talk button. Say ‘‘Pat’s phone.’’ Af ter all paired phones missing a French name tag are re-recorded, the HFT system will prompt in the selected language, ‘‘Returning to the main menu.’’ If there are paired phones without French name tags, the f ollowing prompts will continue.
