    bolts fromBposts. 7.
    Carefully prisesidetrimpanel capfastener from
    B posts.
    8. Carefully prise2cap fasteners, frombothsides,
    securing headlining tobody atdoor aperture.
    9. Carefully priseout5cap fasteners securingfront
    and rear headlinings toroof.
    10. From bothsides, pullside trimpanel inwards
    enough torelease rearcorners offront
    headlining.
    11. Lower headlining andremove fromvehicle.NOTE: Takecarenottobend the
    headlining onremoval andrefitting.
    Refit
    12. With assistance, raiseheadlining toroof.
    13. Carefully pullside trimpanel inwards, onboth
    sides, andslide headlining behindtrimpanel.
    14. Position frontheadlining intorecess ofrear
    headlining andsecure bothtoroof mounting
    brackets with5cap fasteners.
    15. Secure bothsides offront headlining tobody at
    door apertures withcapfasteners. 16.
    Fitside capfasteners atB posts.
    17. Secure seatbelts toB posts andtighten boltsto
    32Nm (24lbf/ft).Fitcaps tobolts.
    18. FitApost trims.
    19. Fitinterior mirror
    SeeInterior mirror.
    20. Fitinterior lamp

    3. Remove rearinterior lamp

    4. Carefully priseout5trim studs securing rearand
    front headlining toroof mounting brackets. 5.
    Release frontcorners ofheadlining fromcant
    rail, onboth sides.
    6. Pull headlining forwardssufficiently toclear rear
    end lining mounting brackets.
    7. Release rearcorners ofheadlining fromcantrail,
    on both sides.
    8. Lower rearheadlining fromroofandremove
    from vehicle.NOTE: Takecarenottobend headlining
    on removal andrefitting.
    Refit
    9. With assistance, positionrearheadlining toroof
    and locate rearcorners incant rail.
    10. Push headlining rearwardsandposition over
    rear endlining mounting brackets.
    11. Locate frontcorners ofheadlining incant rail. 12.
    Position frontedge ofrear headlining overfront
    headlining andsecure withtrimstuds.
    13. Adjust rearheadlining toachieve goodfitat all
    corners.
    14. Fitrear interior lamp

    DOOR TRIMCASING

    Remove
    1. Unscrew 2bolts andremove grabhandle from
    rear door.
    2. Remove 2screws anddetach wipermotor cover.
    3. Remove 7screws securing trimcasing todoor.
    4. Remove 2screws andliftwiper motor harness
    cover fromharness supportbracket.
    5. Carefully release8clips securing trimcasing to
    door.
    6. Remove trimcasing andcollect doorlockcover.
    Refit 7. Position doorlockcover, fittrim casing and
    secure withclips.
    8. Fitharness coverandsecure withtwoscrews.
    9. Secure doorpanel withretaining screws.
    10. Position wipermotor coverandsecure with2
    screws.
    11. Position grabhandle andsecure with2bolts. TAIL
    DOOR LOCK
    Service repairno-76.37.16
    Remove 1. Remove doorcasing
    See Taildoor trim
    casing
    .
    2. Remove screws,washers andnutretainer plate
    securing topoflock todoor.
    3. Remove nuts,washers andstud retainer plate
    securing bottomoflock todoor.
    4. Withdraw lockassembly.
    5. Remove doorlockgasket.
    6. Clean sealant fromretainer plates.
    7. Insert keyinto barrel.
    8. Depress lockbarrel plunger andwithdraw barrel
    from lock.
    Refit 9. Fitnew barrel intolock.
    10. Apply sealant tolock retainer plates.
    11. Fitlock todoor withanew gasket.
    12. Secure withretainer plates,screws, washers
    and nuts.
    13. Close doorandcheck forcorrect latching with
    striker. Adjuststrikerasnecessary

    Adjust
    1. Loosen strikersecuring screws.
    2. Adjust strikerandretighten screws.
    3. Close doorandcheck forcorrect latching with
    door lock.
    4. Carry outfurther adjustment asnecessary. Iffull
    adjustment cannotbeachieved carryout
    following:
    5. Remove strikerandnutplate.
    6. Elongate holesinbody metal which is
    sandwiched betweenstrikerandnutplate.
    7. Refit striker andadjust asnecessary.

    Service repairno-76.83.01
    Remove 1. Open sunroof fully.
    2. Disengage springlockfrom operating handle
    catch.
    3. Holding sunroof atboth sides, release hinges
    from locating brackets atfront ofouter frame. 4.
    Remove sunroof.
    5. Starting fromcentre rear,peelheadlining finisher
    from inner frame.
    6. Remove 18screws securing innerframe toouter
    frame anddetach innerframe.
    7. Lift outer frame fromroof.
    NOTE: Assistance mayberequired to
    remove thesun roof assembly.
    Refit
    8. Clean roofarea around outerframe seating.
    9. Position outerframe onroof.
    10. Fitinner frame toheadlining andsecure toouter
    frame with18screws butdonot fully tighten.
    11. Check alignment ofinner andouter frames with
    roof mounting andheadlining, adjustas
    necessary, andfully tighten fixingscrews to
    10
    Nm (7lbf/ft).
    12. Starting fromcentre rear,fitheadlining finisher
    lip into locating channel ofinner frame.
    13. Press finisher firmlyoverinner frame and
    continue aroundcomplete frame,ensuring
    finisher liesflatonheadlining.
    14. Fitsun roof hinges fullyintolocating brackets on
    outer frame, andlower theglass panel.
    15. Engage operating handlecatchwithspring lock
    of outer frame andclose sunroof.

    Remove
    1. Prise interior mirrorarmfrom mounting plate.
    2. Remove 3screws andremove mounting plate
    from headlining.
    Refit 3. Fitmounting platetoheadlining.
    4. Locate lowerlugofmirror arminmounting plate
    aperture.
    5. Press mirror armfirmly toengage springclipin
    mounting plateaperture. SUN
    VISORS
    Service repairno-76.10.47
    Remove
    1. Raise sunvisor.
    2. Remove 2screws andcollect sunvisor.
    Refit 3. Position sunvisor andsecure with2screws.

    LOCK
    Service repairno-76.16.21
    Remove 1. Open bonnet.
    2.Mark position ofguide plateandlock tobonnet
    platform.
    3. Remove 8screws securing grille.
    4. Remove grille.
    5. Remove 2bolts securing guideplateandlock.
    6. Remove guideplate.
    7. Release springsecuring locktobonnet platform.
    8. Slacken clamping boltsecuring bonnetrelease
    cable.
    9. Remove lock.
    Refit 10. Fitspring between lockandbonnet platform.
    11. Position lockandguide platetobonnet platform
    and nipupbolts.
    12. Position guideplateandlock toposition marks
    and tighten boltsto
    10Nm (7lbf/ft).
    13. Fitcable tolock andtighten clamping bolt.
    14. Check operation ofrelease cableandadjust if
    necessary.
    15. Fitgrille andtighten securing screws.
    16. Close bonnet. BONNET
    RELEASE CABLE
    Service repairno-76.16.29
    Remove 1. Open bonnet.
    2. Remove 8screws securing grille.
    3. Remove grille.
    4.Slacken clamping boltsecuring bonnetrelease
    cable.
    5. Remove cablefromlock.
    6. Release cablefromcliponunderside ofbonnet
    platform.
    7. Feed cable through valance andcollect
    grommet.
    8. Release cablefromclipfixed towheelarch under
    expansion tank.
    9. Loosen clamping nutsecuring bonnetrelease
    handle tomounting bracket.
    10. Remove bonnetrelease handlefrommounting
    bracket.
    11. Withdraw cablethrough bulkhead.
    Refit 12. Feed cable through bulkhead andfitbonnet
    release handletomounting bracket.Tighten
    clamping nut.
    13. Route cablebehind expansion tankandfitto
    securing clip.
    14. Feed cable through valance.
    15. Fitgrommet betweencableandvalance.
    16. Fitcable tosecuring cliponunderside ofbonnet
    platform.

    6. Remove 2screws, withdraw switchpanelfrom
    lower fascia anddisconnect switchmulti-plugs.
    7. Prise outLand Rover decalandremove screw
    securing grabhandle tocrash pad.
    8. Remove lowerscrew andliftgrab handle from
    lower fascia panel.
    9. On RH drive vehicles only,remove screw
    securing LHside offinisher towiper motor cover.
    10. Remove 4screws andremove bothdemister
    vents fromcrash pad.
    11. Remove 3screws securing crashpadtofascia
    bulkhead.
    12. Remove crashpad.
    13. Remove radio,iffitted.
    14. Remove 2trim studs securing radiohousing to
    trim panel. Remove radiohousing.
