    FRAMEALIGNMENT
    With thevehicle assembled, acheck forchassis
    squareness canbemade asfollows:
    1. Place thevehicle onalevel floor.
    2. Mark measuring pointsatapproximately the
    locations showninLR4412M ensuringthatthe
    marks areexactly opposite oneach sideofthe
    chassis frame. 3.
    Hold aplumb lineagainst eachofthe measuring
    points inturn andmark thefloor directly beneath
    the plumb-bob.
    4. Move thevehicle andmeasure diagonally
    between themarks madeonthe floor, ifthe
    chassis issquare thediagonals betweenthe
    related measuring pointsshould agreewithin
    9,50 mm.
    5. Chassis framedimensional checkscanbe
    made, withthevehicle upperstructure removed,
    referring tothe applicable illustrationand
    associated key.

    Remove
    1. Prise openfinisher caps,remove 2screws, and
    detach doorpull.
    2.Remove singlescrewbehind remote control
    lever.
    3. Prise offremote controlleverbezel.
    4. Prise offdoor locking buttonbezel.
    5.Prise outwindow regulator handlecentre
    finisher, removeretaining screw,andwithdraw
    handle andbezel.
    6. Using ascrewdriver torelease trimfasteners,
    carefully easetrimcasing fromdoor.

    Refit
    7. Remove anytrim fasteners heldindoor panel.
    Refit orinsert newclips totrim panel.
    8. Ensure thatanti-vibration padsareinposition
    and offer-up trimcasing todoor. Alignfasteners
    with holes indoor andfirmly pushtriminto
    position.
    9. Fitbezels tolocking buttonandremote control
    lever.
    10. Fitsingle screwbehind remote controllever.
    11. Fitdoor pulland secure with2screws and
    finisher caps.
    12. Fitwindow regulator handleandretain with
    single screwandfinisher. WINDOW
    REGULATOR -REAR SIDEDOOR
    Service repairno-76.31.45
    Remove 1. Remove doortrimcasing
    See Door trimcasing
    .
    2. Remove plasticsheet.
    3. Temporarily fithandle, windwindow uptoits
    fullest extent andsupport glasswithalength of
    timber, toprevent itfalling whenremoving
    regulator.
    4. Remove 4screws retaining regulator to
    mounting panelandwithdraw regulatorwhilst
    sliding liftingarmbutton fromlifting channel. To
    assist thisoperation, removetimberandlower
    glass.

    Refit
    5. Insert liftingarmbutton intolifting channel.
    6. Position regulator sothat fixing holes line-up with
    holes inmounting panel.
    7. Secure with4screws andtighten evenly.
    8. Temporarily fithandle andcheck thatglass can
    be raised andlowered smoothly withouttight
    spots.
    9. Fitplastic sheet.
    10. Fitdoor trim

    HANDLE-REAR SIDEDOOR
    Service repairno-76.58.02
    Remove 1. Remove doortrimcasing
    See Door trimcasing
    .
    2. Peel back sufficient ofplastic sheettogain
    access tohandle mechanism.
    3.Disconnect actuatingrodfrom handle operating
    lever.
    4. Remove 2screws andwithdraw handleand
    bezels.
    Refit 5. Fithandle todoor ensuring thatboth bezels are
    in position -flat faces towards doorandsecure
    with 2screws.
    6. Connect actuating rodtohandle operating lever
    and secure withspring clip.
    7. Re-seal plasticsheet.
    8. Fitdoor trimcasing
