4. Enter yourwireless password usingthenumeric keypad. Note: Thenetwork nameandpassword arecase sensitive. Besure tocorrectly enteruppercase and lowercase letters,andnumeric orspecial characters. • To enter letters orsymbols, pressthebuttons onthe numeric keypadtoscroll through characters. • To enter numbers orchange thecase ofletters, presstheupordown arrow button. • To delete theprevious character, presstheleftarrow button. • To enter aspace, presstheright arrow button. 5. Press theOK button whenyoufinish entering yourpassword. 6. Confirm thedisplayed networksettingsandpress theOK button tosave them. Note: Ifyou need tochange asetting, pressthebackbutton. 7. Ifyou want toprint anetwork setupreport, pressoneofthe Start buttons. (Otherwise, presstheOK button.) Wi-Fi Direct ModeSetup You cansetupyour product tocommunicate directlywithyour computer oranother devicewithout requiring awireless routeroraccess point. 1 Epson product 2 Computer withawireless interface 3 Other wireless device You canselect oneofthese modes tocommunicate withyour computer ordevice: Access pointmode The product itselfactsasthe network accesspointforupto4devices. Whenoperating inthis mode, your product displays anAP connection symbolonthe LCD screen. Peer-to-peer mode The product communicates one-to-onewithanother Wi-FiDirect capable device.Whenoperating in this mode, yourproduct displays aDirect orDconnection symbolonthe LCD screen. To disconnect apeer-to-peer modeconnection, releasetheconnection toyour product fromyour computer orother device. Enabling Wi-FiDirect Mode You canenable Wi-FiDirect modetoallow direct communication betweenyourproduct andacomputer or other devices withoutawireless routeroraccess point. 1.
