Uninstalling
ProductSoftware -Windows
 You
canuninstall andthen re-install yourproduct software tosolve certain problems.
 1.
Turn offthe product.
 2.
Disconnect anyinterface cables.
 3.
Doone ofthe following:
 •
Windows 8.x:Navigate tothe Apps screen andselect Control Panel>Programs >Programs
 and
Features .Select theuninstall optionforyour Epson product, thenselect Uninstall/Change .
 Note:
Ifyou seeaUser Account Controlwindow, clickYesorContinue .
 Select
yourproduct again,ifnecessary, thenselect OK,and click Yestoconfirm the
 uninstallation.

Windows (otherversions) :Click orStart ,and select AllPrograms orPrograms .Select
 EPSON
,select yourproduct, thenclick EPSON PrinterSoftware Uninstall.
 Note:
Ifyou seeaUser Account Controlwindow, clickYesorContinue .
 In
the next window, selectyourproduct andclick OK.Then follow anyon-screen instructions.
 4.
Doone ofthe following touninstall EpsonEventManager, thenfollow anyon-screen instructions:
 •
Windows 8.x:Select Epson EventManager andclick Uninstall .
 •
Windows 7/Windows Vista:Open theWindows ControlPanelutility.Select Programs and
 Features
.(In Classic view,select Programs andclick Uninstall aprogram .)Select Epson
 Event
Manager andclick Uninstall/Change .
 •
Windows XP:Open theWindows ControlPanelutility.Double-click AddorRemove Programs .
 Select
Epson EventManager andclick Change/Remove .
 5.
Doone ofthe following touninstall EpsonScan,thenfollow anyon-screen instructions:

Windows 8.x/Windows 7/Windows Vista:Select EPSON Scanandclick Uninstall/Change .
 •
Windows XP:Select EPSON Scanandclick Change/Remove .
 6.
Restart yourcomputer, thenseetheStart Here sheet tore-install yoursoftware.

most cases, youdonot need touninstall yourproduct software beforere-installing it.However, you

download theUninstaller utilityfromtheEpson support website touninstall yourproduct software as
 described
here.
 Note:
Ifyou findthat re-installing yourproduct software doesnotsolve aproblem, contactEpson.
 1.
Todownload theUninstaller utility,visittheEpson download site(U.S. downloads orCanadian
 downloads
).
 2.
Follow theinstructions onthe screen toinstall theUninstaller utility.
 3.
Quit allapplications currentlyrunningonyour Mac.
 4.
Double-click theUninstaller icon.
 5.
Select thecheckbox foreach software programyouwant touninstall.
 6.
Click Uninstall .
 7.
Follow theon-screen instructions touninstall thesoftware.
 8.
Toreinstall yourproduct software, seetheStart Here sheet forinstructions.
 Note:
Ifyou uninstall theprinter driverandyour product nameremains inthe Print &Fax ,Print &Scan ,
 or
Printers &Scanners window,selectyourproduct nameandclick the–(remove) icontoremove it.
