    isinstalled correctly.

    In Windows, makesureyourproduct isselected asthe default printer.
     •
    In Windows, clearanystalled printjobsfrom theWindows Spooler:
     •
    Windows 8.x:Navigate tothe Apps screen andselect Control Panel>Hardware andSound >
     Devices
    andPrinters .Right-click yourproduct name,selectSeewhats printing ,and select your
     product
    nameagainifnecessary. Right-clickthestalled printjob,click Cancel ,and click Yes.

    Windows 7:Click andselect Devices andPrinters .Right-click yourproduct name,selectSee

    Right-click yourproduct name,selectPrinting Preferences ,and select yourproduct nameagainif
     necessary.
    
    3.
    Click theMaintenance tab.
     4.
    Click theMonitoring Preferences button.
     5.
    Click thecheckbox forthe option thatadds theshortcut icontothe taskbar.
     6.
    Click OKtoclose theopen program windows.

    AfterCartridge Replacement
     If
    you seeanerror lightorerror message afteryoureplace anink cartridge, followthesesteps:
     1.
    Make suretheprint head isin the inkcartridge replacement position.(Theinkcartridge holdershould
     be
    beneath thecutout inthe product case.)
     Note:
    Ifthe print head isnot inthe inkcartridge replacement position,followtheinstructions on
     replacing
    anink cartridge inthis manual tomove it.
     2.
    Remove andreinsert thereplaced inkcartridge, makingsuretopush itall the way intoitsslot.
     3.
    Complete theinkcartridge installation steps.

    Close anyprograms youarenotusing whenyouprint.
     •
    Ifyour product isconnected toaUSB hub,connect itdirectly toyour computer instead.

    Ifprinting becomes slowerafterprinting continuously foralong time, theproduct mayhave
     automatically
    sloweddowntoprotect theprint mechanism fromoverheating orbecoming damaged.
     Let
    theproduct restwith thepower onfor 30minutes, thentryprinting again.
     For
    thefastest printing, selectthefollowing settingsinyour product software:
     •
    Make surethepaper typesetting matches thetype ofpaper youloaded.
     •
    Turn onany high speed settings inyour product software.
     •
    Select alower printquality setting.
     •
    Windows :Click theMaintenance tab,select Extended Settings,and select thefollowing settings:

    Always SpoolRAWDatatype

     •
