6-2 Using the Fax Functions Basic Method for Sending Faxes This section describes the basic procedure for sending faxes. 1 Place documents. “Placing Documents” (àP.2-4) “Document Requirements ” (àP.2-2) 2 Press []. 4 Specify the destination. These are the following methods to specify a destination. (For details, see P.6-4 to 6-5.) Entering the fax number One-touch keys Coded dialing Group dialing Address book - Sequential broadcast (àP.6-9) 5 Press [] (Start). When placing documents in the feeder Document scanning is started. The fax is sent when the scanning is finished. When placing documents on the platen glass Perform the following procedure.
