Englis h 11 Next Folder/Previous Folder Button Press the Next Folder and Previous Folder buttons to navigate through folders on your CD. If the CD contains only MP3 tracks and no folders, pressing either folder button will advance or go back ten tracks. When you play an audio CD, the folder controls are inactive, as audio CDs do not contain folders. Browse The Browse feature allows you to navigate through tracks without interrupting the track that is playing. When you press the Browse button the Browse symbol appears in the top left corner of the display window. Navigate to a track on your CD. To play the track being displayed, press Play/Pause. This will deactivate the feature. Or, to continue play of the current track, press the Browse button a second time. Use
12 Englis hAdd to MyMix Button The Add to MyMix button creates and maintains a new custom playlist each time you turn the player ON or each time you open the CD compartment. Turn the player ON, navigate to a track you want to include in the playlist, and press the Add to MyMix button. This creates a new folder containing the selected track. To add a track to the playlist, press the Add to MyMix button while the track is displayed. To access the MyMix folder, press and hold the Add to MyMix button for two seconds. To delete a track from the MyMix folder, press the Add to MyMix button while the track is displayed. Shuffle Button When you press the Shuffle button while playing an audio CD, the player plays all tracks in random order. The SHUFFLE graphic appears in the bottom center of the display window. Press again to cancel Shuffle mode. When you press the Shuffle button while playing a MP3- CD, the player plays the contents of the current folder in random order. The SHUFFLE FOLDER graphic displays. Press again and the player plays all files on the disc in random order. The SHUFFLE ALL graphic displays. When all tracks have been heard, the player stops. Pressing again cancels Shuffle mode. Use
Englis h 13 The CD Display Window When a CD is first loaded, the numerals in the center of the window show the total number of tracks and the total length of the CD for three seconds. When the volume is being adjusted, the volume graphic appears at the center of the display, and the volume level is displayed graphically. When a track begins to play, the track number and total number of tracks of the CD or current folder is displayed. This information, shown for two seconds, is then replaced with the elapsed time of the track. When a CD is paused, the elapsed time and track text flashes at the point where playback was paused. Note: When detailed track information is not available the current track’s filename will be shown. 14 Englis hPlaying MP3-CD Music Files When you load an MP3-CD, folders that contain MP3 files are displayed alphabetically. Numbered folders are displayed sequentially. Folders that contain no tracks do not appear. After the table of contents is read the first track displays and begins to play. No Disc or Disc Error This indicates there is no CD in the player, the CD is upside-down, or the CD cannot be read. Other controls are deactivated. The message displays until the player door is opened or the player is automatically or manually turned off. Use
Englis h 15 Battery Replacement Low Battery Symbol The Low Battery symbol has three segments that indicate the amount of remaining battery life. When approximately ten minutes of playing time remain, the messages “Batteries Low” and “Please Replace” appear for three seconds when the player is powered up or Play is activated. When less than ten minutes remain, the low battery symbol flashes. Cleaning the TriPort® CD Music System The Triport CD music system does not require scheduled cleaning. However, you can simply wipe the outside surfaces of the headphones and Bose ® CD/MP3 player with a soft cloth as needed. Be sure the TriPort headphone earcup ports are kept clear and that no moisture enters the earcup. Replacement parts and accessories An extension cord, drawstring carry bag, and replacement earcup cushions may be ordered through Bose Customer Service. 16 Englis hReattaching Earcup Cushions The earcup cushions are held in place by a flange which snaps under small tabs located around the inside rim of the earcup. If an earcup cushion becomes partially or completely detached, push the mounting flange of the cushion back into the earcup. Using your finger or thumb, press around the edge of the mounting flange, making sure it snaps into place all the way around the earcup. Mounting flange Care

Distorted sound Be sure headphone plug is secure in its jack. Remove any debris from earcup ports. Player has no power Load batteries. Be sure batteries are loaded properly. Replace batteries.
