Administering AUDIX Voice Power Displaying the Subscriber Database You can display a list of the current subscriber database on your screen to assist in administering the system. Whenever you add a subscriber, remove a subscriber, or change subscriber information, you can display the new subscriber list to verify the changes. Always work from the latest subscriber database. To display the subscriber database, perform the following steps: 1.At the AUDIX Voice Power menu, move the cursor to Subscriber Administration and press {Enter}. — The Subscriber Administration form appears. 2.Press {F8} (CHG-KEYS) to display the alternate key labels, then press {F8} (DB-MGMT) to display the option menu. 3.Useto highlight the Display option. 4.Press {Enter} to select the highlighted option. Printing the Subscriber Database If you have a printer connected to your system, you can print a list of the current subscriber database. Use this printout when you are administering the system. Whenever you add a subscriber, remove a subscriber, or change subscriber information, print the new subscriber list for your records. Always work from the latest subscriber database, To print the subscriber database, perform the following steps: 1.Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer and turned on. 2.At the AUDIX Voice Power menu, move the cursor to Subscriber Administration and press {Enter}. — The Subscriber Administration form appears. 3.Press {F8} (CHG-KEYS) to display the alternate key labels, then press {F3} (DB-MGMT) to display the option menu. 4.Useto highlight the Print option. 5. Press {Enter} to select the highlighted option. 3-13

To prevent unauthorized modification of voice prompts, Service Administrators are registered. The data is compiled on FORM E from the Planning Guide. To register Service Administrators, follow these steps: 1.Get your completed FORM E from the AT&T AUDIXTM Voice Power Planning Guide and Forms. 2. At the AUDIX Voice Power menu, move the cursor to Service Administrator Registration and press {Enter}. — The Service Administrator Registration form appears. Press {Enter} after each field. 4.When you are finished, press {F3} (SAVE) to save the information. — A window appears to inform you that the information has been saved. 5.Press any key to continue. — Y OU return to the AUDIX Voice Power menu. Updating Service Administrator Registration T O update Service Administrator information, use the preceding procedure. The new information will replace the old information. NOTE: Be sure to update FORM E from the Planning Guide with the new information. 3-15
Administering AUDIX Voice Power 0utcalling Administration Parameters that control Outcallinq must be set during initial implementation. They are generally not changed. The information is collected on FORM F from the Planning Guide. To set the outcalling parameters, follow these steps: 1.Get your completed FORM F from the AT&T AUDIX™ Voice Power Planning Guide and Forms. 2.At the AUDIX Voice Power menu, move the cursor to Outcalling Administration and press {Enter}. — The Outcalling Administration form appears. Administering AUDIX Voice Power 3.Using your completed FORM F from the Planning Guide, type in the information for each item and press {Enter} after each field. 4.When you are finished, press {F3} (SAVE) to save your information. — A window appears to inform you that the information has been saved. 5.Press any key to continue. — You return to the AUDIX Voice Power menu. Updating Outcalling Parameters To update outcalling parameters, use the preceding procedure. The new parameter values will replace the previous parameter values. NOTE: Be sure to update FORM F from the Planning Guide with the new information. 3-17
Administering AUDIX Voice Power Automated Attendant Administration Be sure to completely plan the Automated Attendant using FORM G, FORM H, FORM I, FORM J, and FORM K before entering any data. To enter the data far the Automated Attendant, follow these steps: 1. Attendant Administration and press (Enter). At the AUDIX Voice Power Menu, move the cursor to Automated — The Automated Attendant Administration menu appears. Administering AUDIX Voice Power 2. Move the cursor to the function for which you want to enter information or need to view and press {Enter} to select that function. NAME: If you are administering your system for the first time, go t O the next section, Holiday Administration, and continue through the Automated Attendant sections in the order in which they are written. If you are updating the system, go directly to the procedure that you need. Holiday Administration Holiday Administration information is contained on FORM G from the Planning Guide. To enter the data, follow these steps: 1.Get your completed FORM G from the AUDIX™ Voice Power’ Planning Guide and Forms. 2. At the Automated Attendant Administration menu, move the cursor to Holiday Administration. 3.Press {Enter}. — The Holiday Administration window appears. If you have already assigned holidays, they will be listed on this screen. Initially, no holidays appear on this screen. Past holidays have blank dates. 3-19

Adding Holidays To add a holiday, follow these steps: 1. NOTE: Be sure to update FORM G from the Planning Guide with the new information. Press [F3] (ADD) to add a holiday. — The Add a Holiday Form appears. 3-20

Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to add more holidays. Press [F6] (CANCEL) to return to the Automated Attendant Administration menu. 3-21

At the Holiday Administration menu, move the cursor to the holiday that you want to remove and press {F2} (REMOVE). —A window appears to inform you that the holiday has been removed. 3-22Press any key to continue. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to remove any additional holidays. Press [F6] (CANCEL) to return to the Automated Attendant Administration menu.
