Voice Administration General Mailbox Greeting Administration A special system greeting for the General Mailbox is provided with AUDIX Voice Power. This text is tailored for users with Call Answer Service where callers know who they are trying to reach. The greeting should be modified if the General Mailbox is to be used primarily for Automated Attendant time-outs where callers may not know exactly to whom they wish to talk. The greeting should also be modified if no system operator is defined. The General Mailbox greeting provided with AUDIX Voice Power is: Y Ou will now be able to leave a message in a general mailbox.You can press 0 to speak to an operator at any time. If you know the intended recipient of your message be sure to include their name in your message. This will enable the system administrator to forward your message to them .Please wait for the tone to begin recording. A new General Mailbox greeting can be recorded in the same manner as any other subscriber would record a new greeting. To administer the greeting for the General Mailbox, follow these steps: 1. 2.Log in as extension 9999 with the password assigned to that mailbox.
