Die mitgelieferte Fernbedienungseinheit
ermöglicht die Bedienung des Gerät bequem
vom Sitzplatz aus.
Die Fernbedienung auf den Fern-
bedienungs-Empfangssensor am Gerät
richten.

Innerhalb des zulässigen
Entfernungsbereichs kann der
Signalempfang durch zwischen
Fernbedienung und Empfangssensor
befindliche Gegenstände behindert
werden.
<
Bei Fernbedienbetrieb kann der Gerät
Fehlfunktionen zeigen, wenn er in der
Nähe eines Infrarotstrahlen
ausstrahlenden Geräts betrieben wird
oder wenn im gleichen Raum Infrarot-
Fernbedienungen anderer Geräte
verwendet werden. Umgekehrt kann die
Fernbedienung dieses Geräts
Fehlfunktionen bei anderen mit
Infrarotsignalen zu bedienenden Geräten
verursachen.
Einlegen der Batterien
1Die Batteriefach-Abdeckung entfernen.
2Zwei Batterien “AA“ (R6, SUM-3) unter
Beachtung der Polarität (+
/_) einlegen.
3Die Abdeckung wieder anbringen.
Batteriewechsel
Sollte es erforderlich werden, den Abstand
zwischen Gerät und Fernbedienung zur
Funktionsauslösung zu verringern, wird ein
Batteriewechsel notwendig. Stets zwei neue
Batterien einlegen.

aInterrupteur d’alimentation (POWER)C’est l’interrupteur d’alimentation principale du système.
bPlateau porte-disquePlacer un disque sur ce plateau.
cTouche OPEN/CLOSESert à ouvrir et fermer le plateau porte-disque.
dTouche .PREV [TUNING ‡] Quand un disque est en lecture, la pression sur cette touche
vous permet de revenir sur le titre, chapitre ou piste précédents.
Quand on est en mode de syntonisateur, cette bouton sert à
chercher des  fréquences plus basses. On peut le maintenir
pressé pour une seconde ou plus pour démarrer une
syntonisation automatique. 
Touche NEXT/[TUNING °] Quand un disque est en lecture, la pression sur cette touche
vous permet de revenir sur le titre, chapitre ou piste suivants.
Quand on est en mode de syntonisateur, cette touche sert à
chercher des  fréquences plus hautes. On peut le maintenir
pressé pour une seconde ou plus pour démarrer une
syntonisation automatique. 
eTouche STOPSert à arrêter la lecture d’un disque.
fTouche PLAY /PAUSESert à mettre un disque en lecture ou à l’arrêter
momentanément.
gTouche SELECTSert à choisir des canaux audio ou à régler leurs niveaux.
hTouche VOLUME/ADJSert à augmenter le niveau sonore général ou le niveau d’un
canal choisi.
iTouche STANDBY/ONSert à commuter l’appareil sur un état d’attente ou à le mettre en
marche.
jAfficheur frontalIndique le temps de lecture entre autres.
kREMOTE SENSORC’est un endroit sensible aux signaux provenant de la
télécommande à infrarouge.
lTouche AUX[1/2] Sert à choisir la fonction correspondante.
mTouche TUNER [BAND]Sert à mettre l’appareil en fonction de syntonisation. 
nTouche DVDSert à mettre l’appareil en fonction DVD.
oPrise PHONESOn y branche un casque d’écoute. Cet appareil consomme un faible courant même si cet

While playing a disc, press this button to select the previous title,
chapter or track. While listening to the radio, press this button to
decrease the frequency. For automatic tuning, press and hold it
for more than 1 second.

While playing a disc, press this button to select the next title,
chapter or track. While listening to the radio, press this button to
increase the frequency. For automatic tuning, press and hold it
for more than 1 second.
eHSTOP button
Stops playing a disc.

Plays or pauses a disc.

Selects the audio channel to view or adjust its level.

You must do some basic setting when first
using this system. This chapter describes
how to set the OSD (On-Screen Display)
language, color system, audio output mode
and video output mode; how to position and
setup speakers; how to preset the radio
stations, etc.

If there is too much noise on the SETUP
screen and options are illegible, leave the
screen by pressing the SETUP button,
press the PAL/NTSC button on the remote
control, and try again the setup process
from the beginning.
Selecting the Language for OSD
You can select the language for OSD (On-
Screen Display). This setting allows you
select a preferred language for the OSD
menu, operating messages and DVD disc
menu. The default language is ENGLISH.
1Press the SETUP button to enter SETUP
MENU. Use the 5
/bbuttons to select
GENERAL SETUP, and then press ENTER
button.
2Highlight OSD LANG using the 5/b
buttons, then press the tbutton to go to
the right option list. Select the language
using the 5
/bbuttons, then press the
ENTER button to confirm your selection.
3Press the SETUP button again to exit
menu.
