Englis\b-20 Before your television can begin memorizing t\be available c\bannels, you must specify t\be type of signal source t\bat is connected to t\be TV (i.e., an antenna or cable system). Memorizing C\bannels Your TV can memorize and store all of t\be available c\bannels for bot\b “off-air” (antenna) and cable c\bannels. After t\be available c\bannels are memorized, use t\be CH and CH buttons to scan t\broug\b t\be c\bannels. T\bis eliminates t\be need to c\bange c\bannels by entering t\be c\bannel digits. T\bere are t\bree steps for memorizing c\bannels: selecting a broadcast source, memorizing t\be c\bannels (automatic) and adding and deleting c\bannels (c\bannel manager). By default, the cable TV system is set to “STD”. The TV begins memo°fizing all available stations. P°fess the E\fTER button at any time to inte°f°fupt the memo°fization p°focess. At this point the signal sou°fce has been selected. • The TV must be connected to ai°f/cable in o°fde°f to °feceive digital TV signals. Even if a pa°fticula°f channel is deleted f°fom the memo°fy, you can always tune to that channel di°fectly by using the numbe°f buttons on the °femote cont°fol. • When connecting Digital Cable to a Set-Top Box, Channel Memo°fization is done on the STB. To view the STB on you°f TV, select the Input jack the STB is connected to with the SOURCE button on the °femote cont°fol. P°fess the numbe°f buttons to go di°fectly to a channel. °bo°f example, to select channel 27, p°fess “2,” then “7.” The TV will chang e channels when you p°fess the second numbe°f. When you p°fess the CH o°f CH button, the TV changes channels in sequence. You will see all the channels that the TV has memo°fized. (The TV must have memo°fized at least th°fee channels.) You will not see channels that we°fe eithe°f e°fased o°f not memo°fized. Use the numbe°f buttons to quickly switch to any channel. P°fess the \bRE-CH button. The TV changes to the last channel you we°fe watching. Using the “-” Button The “-” button is used to select stations that b°foadcast both a digital and analog signal. Make sure you enter t\bree digits of t\be code, even if t\be first digit is a “0”. (If more t\ban one code is listed, try t\be first one.) 5. Press t\be POWER button on t\be remote control.
