the Encore system to be programmed, on site or from a remote location, through a graphical
user interface (GUI).

2.3For on-site and remote connections, you will need a V24 Adapter and cables. The
Remote Management Software PC is attached to the KSU’s RJ11 connector using a V24
Adapter and a 3-foot (1-meter) RJ11-to-RJ11 cable, as shown below.

4. UPGRADING THE RMS SOFTWARE 
4.1 To upgrade the Remote Management software:
1.
Insert the Remote Management Software CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2.Run setup.exe from the CD.
NOTE: During the installation, a dialog box displays with three option choices: repair,
modify, and remove. The first two options are used to repair/modify a previously run
