4.Select the paper path test options for the test you want to run 5. Press the OK button to begin the test, and then observe the control-panel designators (see the table below). The sensors should display a 1 status as paper passes by the sensors. To exit the diagnostic test, press the stop button , and then select EXIT DIAGNOSTICS . NOTE:Menus are not available during a test. During a test, the OK button functions like the stop button . A TOP (Top-of-Page) sensorTest the TOP sensor (PS215) 1.Open the cartridge door, and then remove the print cartridge. 2. Raise the registration shutter. 3. B Fuser output sensorTest the fuser delivery sensor (PS2) 1.Open the rear door. 2. Slowly insert a piece of paper to activate the fuser delivery sensor. C Duplex sensorTest the duplex media-feed sensor (PS502) 1.Remove the Tray 2 cassette. 2. Press the green lever to release the duplex media-feed assembly (metal tray). 3.
