NOTE:ThehostnameisanOSconstructanddoesnotremainpersistentwiththeserver whentheharddrivesaremovedtoanewserverplatform.TheiLOsysName,however,remains persistentwiththesystemboard. 4.Enableordisablethefollowingalerttypes: •iLOSNMPAlerts—AlertconditionsthatiLOdetectsindependentlyofthehostoperating systemcanbesenttospecifiedSNMPalertdestinations,suchasHPSIM.Ifthisoption isdisabled,notrapswillbesenttotheconfiguredSNMPalertdestinations. •ForwardInsightManagerAgentSNMPAlerts—Alertconditionsdetectedbythehost managementagentscanbeforwardedtoSNMPalertdestinationsthroughiLO.These alertsaregeneratedbytheInsightManagementAgents,whichareavailableforeach supportedoperatingsystem.InsightManagementAgentsmustbeinstalledonthehost servertoreceivethesealerts. •ColdStartTrapBroadcast—Whenthisoptionisenabled,ColdStartTrapisbroadcastto asubnetbroadcastaddressifnovalidtrapdestinationsareconfigured.
