2.3 OPERATION
• Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts. Always 
avoid the discharge chute opening.
• The snow thrower must never be used to remove anything 
but snow
• Be careful when driving on or crossing gravel paths, 
pavements and roads. Be aware of hidden dangers and 
traffic.
• Never direct the discharge chute towards a public road or 
traffic.
• If the snow thrower hits a foreign object, stop the engine, 
disconnect the spark plug cable and carefully inspect the 
machine for damage. Repair the damage before using the 
machine again.
• If the machine starts vibrating abnormally, stop the 
engine and look for the cause. Vibration is normally a 
sign of something wrong.
• Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug cable: 
a. If the machine steers away from the driving position. 
b. If the auger housing or discharge chute is blocked and 
must be cleaned. 
c. Before beginning repairs or adjustments.
• Always make sure the rotating parts have stopped and all 
the controls are disengaged before cleaning, repairing or 
inspection.
• Before leaving the machine unattended, disengage all the 
controls, put it into neutral gear, stop the engine and set 
the stop switch in position “OFF”. 
• Never run the engine indoors except when taking it in and 
out of its place of storage. In this case ensure the door to 
the storage place is open. Exhaust fumes are toxic. 
• Never drive across a slope. Move from the top down, and 
from the bottom to the top. Be careful when changing 
direction on a slope. Avoid steep slopes.
• Never operate the machine with insufficient protection or 
without the safety devices in place.
• Existing safety devices must not be disconnected or 
disengaged.
• Do not alter the engine’s regulator setting and do not race 
the engine. The possibility of personal injury increases 
when the engine is run at high revs.
• Never use the snow thrower near enclosures, cars, 
windowpanes, slopes etc. without properly setting the 
discharge chute deflector. 
• Always keep children away from areas to be cleared. Get 
another adult to keep the children under supervision.
• Do not overload the machine by driving it too fast.
• Take care when reversing. Look behind you before and 
during reversing to check for any obstacles.
• Never point the discharge chute towards bystanders. Do 
not allow anyone to stand in front of the machine. 
• Disengage the auger when the snow thrower is to be 
transported or is not in use Do not drive too fast on 
slippery surfaces when transporting.
• Only use accessories that are approved by the machine’s 
manufacturer.
• Never drive the snow thrower in bad visibility or without 
satisfactory lighting.
• Always ensure you have a good balance and a tight grip 
on the handle. 
• Do not touch engine components because they are warm 
during use. Risk of burn injuries.2.4 MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Tighten all nuts and screws so that the machine is in safe 
working condition. Check the shear bolts regularly.
• Always use genuine spare parts. Non-genuine spare parts 
can entail a risk of injury, even if they fit the machine.
• Never store the machine with petrol in the tank in 
buildings where the fumes can come into contact with 
open flames or sparks.
• Allow the engine to cool before putting the machine in 
store.
• Before a long storage, check the instructions for 
recommendations.
• Replace damaged warning and instruction stickers.
• Let the engine run a couple of minutes with the auger 
connected after use. This prevents the auger from 
freezing solid.
3 ASSEMBLY
3.1 UNPACKING
1.  Remove all loose items from the carton.
2.  Cut the four corners of the carton and let the sides fall 
down.
3.  Roll the snow thrower from the carton.
3.2 CONTENTS
The carton contains details as per the table below. Some of 
the details are shown in fig. 1:
3.3 ASSEMBLY OF HANDLE
1.  Dismount the four locking knobs (2:T) with dished 
washers from the handle lower part.
2. Fix the handle on the bolts.
3. Assemble the four dished washers and tighten with the 
four locking knobs.
4. Fix the vires with the three attachments (2:X).
3.4 ASSEMBLY OF CHUTE
1.  Place the chute on the flange. See fig. 3.
2.  Assemble the four screws from the top and tighten with 
the four nuts from the bottom. Detail Pos Num-

3.5 CHECKING THE CLUTCH LEVERS
The control wires might need adjusting before using the 
snow thrower for the first time.
See ”7.4” below.
3.6 TYRE PRESSURE
Check the air pressure in the tyres. See ”6.5”.
4 CONTROLS
The motor is equipped with a protection grid. The 
motor may never be started without the grid fitted 
or with a defect grid.
See fig. 1.
4.1 THROTTLE (K)
Controls the engine’s revs. The throttle has two positions:
1. Full throttle
2. Idling.
4.2 CHOKE (L)
Used when starting a cold engine. The choke has two 
positions:
To the left the choke is closed (for cold starting).
To the right the choke is open.
4.3 PRIMER (J)
Pressing the rubber prime-starter squirts fuel into 
the carburettor intake pipe to make it easier to start 
a cold engine.
4.4 FUEL COCK(M)
The fuel cock opens the fuel supply to the carburettor. 
The fuel cock shall always be closed when the 
machine is not in use.
To the left - open.
Up - closed.
4.5 STOP SWITCH (S)
Used to stop the engine. The switch has two positions:
Pulled out-OFF – The engine stops, engine can not 
start.
Pushed in-ON – The engine can be started, engine 
running.
4.6 STARTING HANDLE (U)
Manual cord start with rewinding.
4.7 OIL FILLER CAP/OIL DIPSTICK (P)
For filling and checking the oil level in the engine. 
4.8 FILLER CAP (C)
For filling with petrol. 4.9 OIL DRAINING PLUG (Q)
For draining the old engine oil when changing the oil.
4.10 SPARK PLUG PROTECTION (F)
The protection is easily removable by hand. The spark plug 
is located under the protection.
4.11 GEAR LEVER (D)
The machine has 4 forward gears and 2 reverse to regulate 
the speed. 
The gear stick must not be moved if the driving 
clutch lever is activated.
4.12 CLUTCH LEVER- DRIVING (N)
Engages the wheels when put into gear and the lever 
is pushed towards the handle.
4.13 CLUTCH LEVER- AUGER (O)
Connects the auger and fan when the lever is pushed 
towards the handle. 
4.14 ADJUSTMENT LEVER (E)
Changes the direction of the discharged snow. 
4.15 SHOES (H)
Used to set the height of the auger housing above the ground.
4.16 SCRAPING BLADE (V)
Used to leave an even surface after the snow thrower and 
absorb the wear from the ground.
4.17 CHUTE DEFLECTOR (A)
Losen the levers and adjust the chute deflector to a suitable 
height.
Low - shorter ejection distance. 
High - longer ejection distance.
4.18 CHUTE CLEARING TOOL (G)
The chute clearing tool is located in a holder on top of the 
auger housing. The chute clearing tool must always be used 
when cleaning the discharge chute and augur.
Always stop the engine before clearing the chute.
Never clear the snow discharge chute with your 
hand. Risk of serious injury.

5 USING THE SNOW THROWER
5.1 GENERAL
Never start the engine until all the above measures under 
“Assembly” have been carried out. 
Never use the snow thrower without first reading 
and understanding the instructions and all the 
warning and instruction stickers on the machine. 
Always use protective goggles or a visor during 
use, maintenance and service.
5.2 CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL (FIG. 11)
Fill the engine with oil before using. 
Do not start the engine until oil level is correct. The 
engine can be seriously damaged without oil.
1.  Place the machine on a level floor.
2. Wipe clean around the oil dipstick. Unscrew 
and pull it up. Wipe off the dipstick.
3. Slide the dipstick down completely and tighten it.
3.  Pull up the dipstick again. Read off the oil level. Top up 
with oil to the “FULL” mark, if the level comes below 
this mark.
Use oil SAE 5W30-10W40 in accordance with A.P.I 
service “SF“, “SG“ or “SH“. 
The crankcase holds: 0.6 litres.
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap (11:F).
The oil level must never exceed the “FULL” mark. This 
results in the engine overheating. If the oil level exceeds 
the “FULL” mark, the oil must be drained until the 
correct level is achieved.
Always check the oil level before using. The snow thrower 
must stand on level ground when checking.
5.3 FILL UP THE PETROL TANK
Always use lead-free petrol. Oil-mixed 2-stroke petrol must 
not be used.
NOTE! Bear in mind that ordinary lead-free petrol is 
perishable; do not purchase more petrol than can be used 
within thirty days.
Environmental petrol can be used, i.e. alkylate petrol. This 
type of petrol has a composition that is less harmful for 
people and nature.
Petrol is highly inflammable. Always store fuel in 
containers that are made especially for this 
purpose. 
Store the petrol in a cool, well ventilated place – 
not in the house. Store the petrol well out of reach 
for children.
Only fill or top up with petrol outdoors, and never 
smoke when filling or topping up. Fill with fuel 
before starting the engine. Never remove the filler 
cap or fill with petrol while the engine is running 
or still warm.
Do not fill the petrol tank right to the top. After filling, screw 
the filler cap on tightly and wipe up any spilt petrol. 5.4 STARTING THE ENGINE, SEE FIG. 1
Do not touch engine components because they are 
warm during use and up to 30 minutes after use. 
Risk of burn injuries.
Never run the machine indoors. The exhaust 
fumes contain carbon monoxide, a very toxic gas.
1.  Make sure the driving (N) and auger (O) clutch levers are 
disengaged.
2. Open the fuel cock (M).
3.  Set the stop switch (S) in position “ON”.
4.  Turn the choke (L) to closed position. 
Note: A warm engine does not need the choke. 
5.  Press the rubber primer-start (J) 2 or 3 times. Make sure 
the hole is covered when pressing the primer-start.
Note: Do not use this function when the engine is warm.
6.  Pull on the starter cord (U) until you feel resistance. Start 
the engine with a sharp pull.
7.  When the engine starts, reset the choke until it is fully 
open.
5.5 SAFETY TEST
This machine is equipped with several mechanical safety 
systems, designed to keep the operator safe while using the 
unit.
After starting and before use of the machine, it is essential 
to perform the safety test below.
If the unit fails to operate as described, DO NOT operate it. 
In this case, contact an authorised workshop for repair.
Auger test
1. The engine shall be running.
2. Activate the auger lever and the auger shall rotate.
3. Release the auger lever and the auger shall stop within 5 
seconds.
Drive test
1. The engine shall be running and the gear lever in 1st gear 
alt. the speed lever in low speed.
2. Activate the driving lever and the unit shall move.
3. Release the driving lever and the unit shall stop.
5.6 STOPPING
1.  Release both clutch levers. Note. If the snow thrower 
continues rotating - see ”7.4” below.
2. Close the fuel cock (1:M).
3.  Set the stop switch (1:S) in position “OFF”.
5.7 STARTING
1.  Start the engine as above. Let the engine run a few 
minutes to warm before use.
2.  Set the chute deflector.
3.  Set the deflector to throw the snow in the direction of the 
wind.
The gear stick must not be moved if the driving 
clutch lever is activated.
4.  Set the gear lever to a suitable position. 
5.  Activate the auger clutch lever to activate the auger and 
discharge fan.

Watch out for rotating auger. Keep hands, feet, 
hair and loose clothing away from any moving 
parts on the machine.
6.  Activate the auger clutch lever. The snow thrower now 
moves forward or backwards depending on the gear you 
have chosen.
5.8 DRIVING TIPS
The silencer and surrounding parts become very 
hot when the engine is running. Risk of burns. 
1.  Always run the engine on full throttle or next best.
2.  Always adapt the speed to the snowy conditions. 
Regulate the speed with the gear stick.
3.  Snow is more effectively removed directly after falling.
4.  Always throw the snow in the direction of the wind if 
possible.
5.  Adjust the shoes with the screws (1:H) to suit the ground 
conditions: 
- On flat ground, e.g. asphalt, the shoes should be about  
3mm under the scraping blade.
- On uneven ground, e.g. gravel paths, the shoes should 
be about  30mm under the scraping blade.
Always adjust the shoes so that gravel and stones 
are not fed into the snow thrower. There is a risk 
for personal injury if these are thrown out at high 
speed. 
Ensure the shoes are adjusted the same on both sides.
5. Adapt the speed so that the snow is thrown in an even 
stream.
If snow fastens in the chute do not try to remove it 
before: 
- Releasing both clutch levers. 
- Stopping the engine. 
- Disconnecting the cable from the spark plug. 
- Do not put your hand inside the chute or auger. 
 Use the chute clearing tool supplied.
5.9 AFTER USE
1.  Check for loose or damaged parts. If required, change 
damaged parts.
2.  Tighten loose screws and nuts.
3.  Brush all the snow from the machine.
4.  Move all the controls backwards and forwards a few 
times.
5.  Put the choke in closed position.
6.  Disconnect the starting cable from the spark plug.
Do not cover the machine while the engine and 
silencer are still warm.
6 MAINTENANCE
6.1 MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
6.2 OIL CHANGE
Change the oil the first time after 2 hours of operation, and 
subsequently every 20 hours of operation or once a season. 
Change oil when the engine is warm.
The engine oil may be very warm if it is drained off 
directly after the engine is shut off. So allow the 
engine to cool a few minutes before draining the 
oil.
1.  Lean the snow thrower slightly so that the oil draining 
plug (1:Q) is the lowest point of the engine.
2.  Unscrew the oil draining plug.
3.  Let the oil run out into a container.
4.  Screw back the oil draining plug.
5.  Fill with new oil: See ”5.2” above for type and amount. 
6.3 SPARK PLUG
Check the spark plug once a year or every hundred hours of 
use.
Clean or change the plug if the electrodes are burnt. The 
engine manufacturer recommends: LD F7TC or equivalent.
Correct spark gap: 0.7-0.8 mm.
6.4 CARBURETTOR
The carburettor is factory set. If adjustment is required, 
contact an authorised service station. 
6.5 TYRE PRESSURE
The air pressure should be equal in both tires for best 
performance. Be sure to keep caps on valves to prevent entry 
of debris into the valve stem when tires are filled. 
Recommended air pressure: 1.2 bar.
6.6 LUBRICATION
No service must be carried out before: 
- The engine has stopped. 
- The cable has been disconnected from the spark 
plug.
6.6.1 Linkages
See fig. 4. Lubricate the linkages every 10:th hour of use and 
before long time storage. Use 10W oil.
6.6.2 Gearbox
No parts inside the gearbox are to be lubricated.

7 SERVICE AND REPAIRS
No service must be carried out before: 
- The engine has stopped. 
- The starting cable has been disconnected from 
the spark plug.
If the instructions say that the machine is to be lifted at the 
front and rested on the auger housing then the petrol tank 
must be emptied.
Empty the petrol tank outdoors when the engine is 
cold. Do not smoke. Empty into a container 
designed for petrol.
7.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING
7.2 ADJUSTING THE SCRAPER BLADE AND 
SHOES
The scraper blade (1:V) gets worn after a long term of use.
Adjust the scraper blade (always together with the shoes) 
until desired distance to the ground.
The scraper blade is reversible and can be used on both sides.
See ”5.8”.7.3 GENERAL ABOUT DRIVE BELTS
The drive belts should be checked and adjusted once per 
season and replaced when needed. This should all be done at 
an authorised service station.
7.4 ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH HANDLES
The procedure below is valid for the driving clutch lever and 
for the auger clutch lever.
1.  Disconnect the spark plug cable from the spark plug.
2.  Press the clutch handle light against the handlebar until it 
stops. See fig. 5.
3. In this position, the wire connected to the handle, shall be 
slackned.
4. Activate the clutch handle about 5 mm, and the wire shall 
be stretched. See fig. 6.
5. Adjust at actual adjustment plate by inserting the wire in 
a suitable hole until the above is fulfilled. See fig. 7.
6. Reassemble the spark plug cable and test drive the snow 
thrower.
7.5 ADJUSTING THE GEAR LEVER
1.  Disconnect the spark plug cable from the spark plug.
2.  Adjust the wire adjustmnts (8:A) until the gear wires 
(8:B) are exactly between slackened and stretched. Then 
tension both wire adjustments 0,5 turn.
3. Set the gear lever in the neutral position. See fig 9.
4. Activate the driving clutch lever and pull the start lever. 
The driving wheels shall not move.
5. If the driving wheels are moving, adjust the wire 
adjustments until the above mentioned is fulfilled. At the 
adjustment shall one wire adjustment be stretched the 
same number of turns that the other is slackened.
6. Reassemble the spark plug cable and test drive the snow 
thrower.
7.6 REPLACING THE SHEAR BOLTS (1:W)
The auger is fastened to the shaft by special bolts that are 
designed to break if something gets stuck in the auger 
housing.
Always use genuine spare parts. Other types of 
bolts could cause serious damage to the machine.
1.  Stop the engine.
2. Disconnect the ignition cable from the spark plug.
3.  Ensure all the rotating parts have stopped.
4.  Remove the object that is stuck in the auger.
5.  Align the holes in the shaft and auger.
6. Remove the broken bolt parts.
7. Assemble a new original shear bolt. Problem Possible cause Remedy

8 STORAGE
Never store the snow thrower with petrol in the 
tank in a confined area with bad ventilation. Petrol 
fumes could reach open flames, sparks, cigarettes 
etc.
If the snow thrower is to be stored for a longer period than 30 
days, the following measures are recommended:
1.  Empty the petrol tank.
2.  Start the engine and let it run until it stops due to lack of 
fuel.
3.  Change the engine oil if it has not been done for 3 
months.
4.  Remove the spark plug and empty a little engine oil 
(about 30ml) in the hole. Crank the engine a couple of 
times. Reassemble the spark plug.
5. Clean the whole snow thrower thoroughly.
6. Lubricate all the parts as shown above.
7. Inspect the snow thrower for damage. Repair if necessary.
8. Touch up any paint damage.
9. Rust protect the metal surfaces.
10. Store the snow thrower indoors if possible. 
9 IF SOMETHING BREAKS
Authorised service workshops carry out repairs and 
guarantee service. Always use genuine spare parts.
Do you carry out simple repairs yourself? Always use 
genuine spare parts. They fit perfectly and make the work 
much easier. 
Spare parts are available at your retailer and service station.
When ordering spare parts: Specify the model, year of 
purchase, the engine model and type number.
10 PURCHASE TERMS
A full warranty is issued against manufacturing and material 
defects. The user must carefully follow the instructions given 
in the enclosed documentation.
Exceptions:
The warranty does not cover damage due to:
- Neglect by the user to acquaint themselves with 
accompanying documentation
- Carelessness 
- Incorrect and non-permitted use or assembly
- The use of non-genuine spare parts
- The use of accessories not supplied or approved by GGP
Neither does the guarantee cover:
- Wear parts such as drive belts, augers, headlights, wheels, 
shear bolts and wires
- Normal wear
- Engines. These are covered by the engine manufacturer’s 
warranties, with separate terms and conditions.
The purchaser is covered the national laws of each by each 
country. The rights to which the purchaser is entitled with the 
support of these laws are not restricted by this warranty.

1 ALGEMEEN

1.1 SYMBOLEN
Op de machine vindt u de volgende symbolen om u eraan te 
herinneren dat tijdens het gebruik voorzichtigheid en oplet-
tendheid geboden zijn. 
Betekenis van de symbolen:
Waarschuwing. Als de voorschriften niet worden 
opgevolgd, bestaat er een kans op ernstige verwon-
dingen en een defecte machine.
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voor-
dat u de machine gaat gebruiken.

Het ontstoppen dient alleen uitgevoerd te worden 
met het gereedschap voor het legen van de uitvoer-
pijp.
Draag altijd gehoorbescherming.
Draag altijd oogbescherming.
Laat de motor minstens 2 minuten afkoelen alvo-
rens het bij te tanken.
Laat de motor nooit binnenshuis draaien. Uitlaat-
gassen bevatten koolstofmonoxide, een geurloos en 
dodelijk gas.
Gebruik geen machine met elektrische starter in 
natte omstandigheden. Risico op dodelijke elektri-
sche schokken.
Conform relevante veiligheidsnormen.
Het afgedankte product dient gerecycled te worden 
in overeenstemming met de plaatselijk geldende

2 VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
2.1 ALGEMEEN
• Lees deze instructies zorgvuldig door. Zorg dat u bekend 
bent met de werking van alle bedieningsmechanismen en 
het juiste gebruik van de machine.
• Laat kinderen of anderen die niet op de hoogte zijn van 
deze instructies de sneeuwfrees niet gebruiken. In ge-
meentelijke verordeningen kunnen beperkingen worden 
aangegeven voor de leeftijd van de bestuurder.
• Gebruik de machine nooit wanneer anderen, met name 
kinderen of dieren, in de buurt zijn.

• Gebruik de sneeuwfrees niet wanneer u onder invloed 
bent van alcohol of geneesmiddelen of als u vermoeid of 
ziek bent.
2.2 VOORBEREIDING
• Controleer het werkgebied van de sneeuwfrees en verwij-
der losse of vreemde voorwerpen.
• Schakel alle bedieningselementen uit voordat u de motor 
start.
• Gebruik de sneeuwfrees alleen als u geschikte werkkle-
ding draagt. Draag schoenen die een goede grip op de 
gladde ondergrond hebben.
• Waarschuwing - benzine is uiterst brandbaar. 
a. Bewaar benzine in een speciaal daarvoor bestemde 
tank.
b. Vul alleen buitenshuis benzine bij en rook niet tijdens 
het bijvullen.
c. Vul benzine bij voordat u de motor start. Verwijder de 
vuldop nooit en vul de machine nooit met benzine als de 
motor loopt of nog warm is.
d. Draai de vuldop stevig vast en veeg gemorste benzine 
weg.
• Pas de hoogte van de vijzelbehuizing aan zodat deze bo-
ven grindpaden uitsteekt.
• Stel de machine nooit opnieuw af als de motor loopt (ten-
zij anders aangegeven in de instructies).

• Laat de sneeuwfrees wennen aan de buitentemperatuur 
voordat u deze in gebruik neemt.
• Draag tijdens gebruik, onderhoud en service altijd een 
veiligheidsbril of een vizier. 
2.3 GEBRUIK
• Blijf met uw handen en voeten uit de buurt van draaiende 
onderdelen. Vermijd contact met de opening van de uit-
voerpijp.
• Gebruik de sneeuwfrees uitsluitend voor het ruimen van 
sneeuw.
• Wees voorzichtig bij het rijden op of oversteken van 
grindpaden, trottoirs en wegen. Wees bedacht op verbor-
gen gevaren en het verkeer.
• Richt de uitvoerpijp nooit op de openbare weg of het ver-
keer.
• Als de sneeuwfrees op een vreemd voorwerp stoot, stopt 
u de motor, haalt u de bougiekabel los en controleert u de 
machine op beschadigingen. Herstel de schade voordat u 
de machine weer gaat gebruiken.
• Als de machine abnormaal gaat trillen, stopt u de motor 
en gaat u op zoek naar de oorzaak. Trillen duidt door-
gaans op een probleem.
• Stop de motor en haal de bougiekabel los: 
a. als de machine in plaats van in de rijrichting een be-
paalde kant op trekt. 
b. als de vijzelbehuizing of de uitvoerpijp blokkeert en 
gereinigd moet worden. 
c. voordat u reparaties of aanpassingen gaat uitvoeren.
• Zorg dat alle draaiende onderdelen zijn gestopt en de be-
dieningselementen zijn uitgeschakeld voordat u de ma-
chine gaat schoonmaken, repareren of inspecteren.
• Voordat de machine onbeheerd wordt achtergelaten, 
moeten alle bedieningselementen worden uitgezet, de 
versnelling in de neutraal worden gezet, de motor worden 
gestopt en de stopschakelaar moet in de positie OFF 
worden gezet. 
• Laat de motor nooit binnenshuis draaien, behalve bij het 
in- en uitrijden van de stalplaats. Zorg er altijd voor dat 
de deur van de stalplaats geopend is. Uitlaatgassen zijn 
giftig. 
• Rijd nooit dwars over een helling. Rijd van boven naar 
beneden en van beneden naar boven. Wees voorzichtig 
bij het veranderen van richting op een helling. Vermijd 
steile hellingen.
• Gebruik de machine nooit met te weinig bescherming of 
zonder dat de veiligheidsmechanismen zijn geplaatst.
• U mag bestaande veiligheidsmechanismen niet losmaken 
of uitschakelen.
• Verander de instelling van de regelaar van de motor niet 
en laat de motor niet op een te hoog toerental draaien. Bij 
hoge toerentallen van de motor neemt de kans op letsel 
toe.
• Gebruik de sneeuwfrees nooit in de buurt van hekken, au-
tos, ruiten, hellingen enz. zonder dat de blaasinrichting 
van de uitvoerpijp correct is afgesteld. 
• Houd kinderen uit de buurt van het werkgebied. Zorg dat 
een andere volwassene op de kinderen let.
• Overbelast de machine niet door er te snel mee te rijden.
• Wees altijd voorzichtig bij het achteruit bewegen. Kijk 
achter u voordat en terwijl u achteruit beweegt, om te 
controleren of er geen obstakels aanwezig zijn.
• Richt de uitvoerpijp nooit op omstanders. Laat niemand 
voor de machine staan. • Ontkoppel de vijzel als u de sneeuwfrees gaat vervoeren 
of als deze niet in gebruik is. Rijd niet te snel op een glad-
de ondergrond tijdens het vervoer.
• Gebruik alleen accessoires die zijn goedgekeurd door de 
fabrikant van de machine.
• Gebruik de sneeuwfrees niet bij slecht zicht of zonder 
goede verlichting.
• Zorg altijd voor een goede balans en een goede grip op de 
handgreep. 
• Raak nooit motoronderdelen aan, omdat die tijdens het 
gebruik heet worden. Er bestaat een gevaar voor brand-
wonden.
2.4 ONDERHOUD EN STALLING
• Zet alle schroeven en moeren zo vast, dat de machine vei-
lig kan worden gebruikt. Loop alle bouten regelmatig na.
• Gebruik altijd originele reserveonderdelen. Niet-origine-
le reserveonderdelen kunnen verwondingen veroorzaken, 
ook al passen ze in de machine.
• Stal de machine nooit met benzine in de tank in gebou-
wen waar de dampen in aanraking kunnen komen met 
open vuur of vonken.
• Laat de motor afkoelen voordat u de machine stalt.
• Raadpleeg de aanbevelingen in de instructies voordat u 
de machine voor langere tijd stalt.
• Vervang beschadigde waarschuwings- en instructiestic-
kers.
• Laat de motor na gebruik een aantal minuten doorlopen 
met aangekoppelde vijzel. Dit voorkomt dat de vijzel 
vastvriest.
3 MONTAGE
3.1 UITPAKKEN
1.  Haal alle losse onderdelen uit de verpakking.
2.  Snijd de vier hoeken los en laat de zijkanten van de ver-
pakking neervallen.
3.  Rol de sneeuwfrees uit de verpakking.
3.2 INHOUD
Voor de inhoud van de verpakking zie de tabel hieronder. En-
kele onderdelen worden getoond in afb. 1:

3.3 MONTAGE VAN DE HANDGREEP
1.  Demonteer de vier borggrepen (2: T) met ingebogen rin-
gen van het onderste gedeelte van de handgreep.
2. Maak de handgreep aan de bouten vast.
3. Monteer de vier ingebogen ringen en zet ze vast met de 
vier borghendels.
4. Bevestig de bedrading met de drie fittingen (2: X)
3.4 MONTAGE VAN DE UITVOERPIJP
1.  Plaats de uitvoerpijp op de flens. Zie afb. 3.
2.  Monteer de vier schroeven van bovenaf en zet ze van on-
deraf vast met de vier moeren.
3.5 NALOPEN VAN DE KOPPELINGSHENDELS
Het kan zijn dat de bedrading moet worden aangepast voor-
dat de sneeuwfrees voor het eerst gebruikt wordt.
Zie hieronder bij 7.4
3.6 BANDENSPANNING
Controleer de bandenspanning. Zie ”6.5”.
4 BEDIENINGSELEMENTEN
De motor is voorzien van een beschermrooster. De 
motor mag nooit zonder rooster of met een defect 
rooster worden gestart.

4.1 GASHENDEL (K)
Stuurt het toerental van de motor aan. De hendel heeft twee 
standen:
1. Vol gas
2. Stationair.
4.2 CHOKE (L)
Te gebruiken bij het starten van een koude motor. De choke 
heeft twee standen:
Aan de linkerkant is de choke gesloten (voor koude 
start)
Aan de rechterkant is de choke geopend.
4.3 BRANDSTOFINSPUITING (J)
Door op de rubberen knop voor brandstofinspuiting 
te drukken, wordt er brandstof in de slang naar de 
carburateur gespoten om het starten van een koude 
motor te vergemakkelijken.
4.4 BRANDSTOFKRAAN (M)
De brandstofkraan opent de brandstoftoevoer naar de 
carburateur. Als de machine niet in gebruik is, dient 
de brandstofkraan altijd gesloten te zijn.
Naar links - open.
Omhoog - gesloten.4.5 STOPSCHAKELAAR (S)
Hiermee wordt de motor uitgeschakeld. De schakelaar heeft 
twee standen:
Uitgetrokken - OFF - De motor stopt, motor kan niet 
starten.
Ingedrukt - ON - De motor kan worden gestart, mo-
tor loopt.
4.6 STARTHENDEL (U)
Handmatige start met een terugrollend koord.
4.7 OLIEVULDOP/OLIEPEILSTOK (P)
Voor het bijvullen en controleren van het oliepeil in 
de motor. 
4.8 VULDOP (C)
Voor het bijvullen van benzine. 
4.9 OLIEAFTAPPLUG (Q)
Voor het aftappen van oude motorolie tijdens het verversen 
van de olie.
4.10 BOUGIEBESCHERMING (F)
Deze bescherming kan eenvoudig met de hand worden ver-
wijderd. De bougie bevindt zich onder de bescherming.
4.11 VERSNELLINGSPOOK (D)
De machine heeft 4 versnellingen vooruit en 2 versnellingen 
achteruit om de snelheid te regelen. 
Als de koppelingshendel is ingedrukt, mag de ver-
snellingshendel niet worden verplaatst.
4.12 KOPPELINGSHENDEL - RIJDEN (N)
Stuurt de wielen aan in de versnelling en als de hendel 
richting de handgreep wordt geduwd. 
4.13 KOPPELINGSHENDEL - VIJZEL (O)
Schakelt de vijzel en de ventilator in als de hendel 
richting de handgreep wordt geduwd. 
4.14 INSTELHENDEL (E)
Verandert de richting van de uitgeworpen sneeuw. 
4.15 GELEIDERS (H)
Worden gebruikt om de hoogte van de vijzelbehuizing boven 
de grond in te stellen.
4.16 SNEEUWSCHUIVER (V)
Wordt gebruikt om achter de sneeuwfrees een vlakke opper-
vlakte achter te laten en om slijtage van de ondergrond op te 
vangen.
4.17 BLAASINRICHTING (A)
Maak de hendels los en pas de blaasinrichting aan de ge-
wenste hoogte aan.
Lage positie – kleinere uitwerpafstand. 
Hoge positie – grotere uitwerpafstand.

4.18 GEREEDSCHAP VOOR HET LEGEN VAN DE 
UITVOERPIJP (G)
Het gereedschap voor het legen van de uitvoerpijp bevindt 
zich in een houder op de vijzelbehuizing. Dit gereedschap 
moet altijd worden gebruikt bij het schoonmaken van de uit-
voerpijp en de vijzel.
Zet de motor altijd uit voordat u de uitvoerpijp 
gaat legen.
Haal de uitvoerpijp nooit met de hand leeg. Kans 
op ernstig letsel.
5 DE SNEEUWFREES GEBRUIKEN
5.1 ALGEMEEN
Start de motor pas als alle onder Montage beschreven 
maatregelen zijn uitgevoerd. 
Gebruik de sneeuwfrees niet voordat u de instruc-
ties en alle waarschuwings- en instructiestickers 
op de machine hebt gelezen en begrepen. 
Draag tijdens gebruik, onderhoud en service altijd 
een veiligheidsbril of een vizier.
5.2 HET CHECKEN VAN HET OLIEPEIL (1:P)
Vul vóór gebruik de motorolie bij. 
Start de motor niet voordat de olie voldoende is 
bijgevuld. Zonder olie kan de motor ernstig be-
schadigd raken.
1.  Zet de machine op een vlakke ondergrond.
2. Zorg dat de omgeving rond de oliepeilstok 
schoon is. Draai de oliepeilstok los en trek deze 
omhoog. Veeg de oliepeilstok af.
3. Plaats de oliepeilstok terug en draai deze vast.
3.  Trek de oliepeilstok weer omhoog. Lees het olieniveau 
af. Vul olie bij tot de FULL-streep als het oliepeil onder 
deze markering staat.
Gebruik SAE 5W30-10W40-olie overeenkomstig A.P.I. 
service SF. SG of SH. 
De inhoud van het carter is: 0,6 liter.
5. Plaats de olievuldop terug (11:F).
Het olieniveau mag nooit boven het merkteken FULL 
komen. Een te hoog oliepeil kan de motor oververhitten. 
Als het oliepeil boven de “FULL”-streep komt, moet de 
olie worden afgetapt tot het juiste niveau is bereikt.
Controleer het oliepeil altijd voorafgaand aan gebruik. 
Tijdens deze controle moet de sneeuwfrees op een vlakke 
ondergrond staan.
5.3 DE BENZINETANK VULLEN
Gebruik altijd loodvrije benzine. Voeg nooit mengsmering 
voor tweetaktmotoren aan de benzine toe.
LET OP! Denk erom dat normale loodvrije benzine beperkt 
houdbaar is. Koop niet meer benzine dan u binnen 30 dagen 
gebruikt.
U kunt ook milieuvriendelijke benzine gebruiken, d.w.z. ge-
alkyleerde benzine. Dit type benzine heeft een samenstelling 
die minder schadelijk is voor mens en milieu.
Benzine is uiterst brandbaar. Bewaar benzine al-
tijd in een speciaal daarvoor bestemde tank. Bewaar de benzine op een koele, goed geventileer-
de plaats - niet in huis. Bewaar de benzine buiten 
het bereik van kinderen.
Vul alleen buitenshuis benzine bij en rook niet tij-
dens het bijvullen. Vul de tank voordat u de motor 
start. Verwijder de vuldop nooit en vul de machine 
nooit met benzine als de motor loopt of nog warm 
is.
Vul de benzinetank niet helemaal tot aan de rand. Draai na 
het vullen de vuldop stevig vast en veeg gemorste benzine 
weg. 
5.4 DE MOTOR STARTEN, ZIE AFB. 1
Raak nooit motoronderdelen aan, omdat die tij-
dens en tot 30 minuten na gebruik heet zijn. Er be-
staat een gevaar voor brandwonden.
Laat de machine nooit binnenshuis draaien. De 
uitlaatgassen bevatten koolmonoxide, een uiterst 
giftig gas.
1.  Zorg ervoor dat de koppelingshendels voor rijden (N) en 
vijzel (O) zijn uitgeschakeld.
2. Open de brandstofkraan (M).
3.  Zet de stopschakelaar (S) op de positie “ON”.
4.  Draai de choke (L) linksom naar gesloten positie. 
Opmerking: Bij een warme motor is de choke niet nodig. 
5.  Druk 2 of 3 keer op de rubberen knop voor brandstofin-
spuiting (J). Zorg ervoor dat de opening is afgedekt als de 
knop voor brandstofinspuiting wordt ingedrukt.
Opmerking: Gebruik deze functie niet als de motor warm 
is.
6.  Trek aan het startkoord (U) totdat u een weerstand voelt. 
Start de motor met een korte, felle ruk aan het startkoord.
7.  Als de motor start, draait u de choke rechtsom totdat deze 
volledig is geopend.
5.5 VEILIGHEIDSTEST
Deze machine is uitgerust met een aantal mechanische vei-
ligheidssystemen, die speciaal zijn ontwikkeld voor de vei-
ligheid van de operator tijdens het gebruik van deze machine.
Na het starten en vóór het gebruik  van de machine is het 
van essentieel belang om de onderstaande veiligheidstest uit 
te voeren.
Als de machine niet naar behoren functioneert, GEBRUIKT 
U DEZE NIET. Neem in dat geval voor reparatie contact op 
met een erkende dealer.
Vijzeltest
1. Laat de motor draaien.
2. Druk de vijzelhendel in, zodat de vijzel begint te draaien.
3. Laat de vijzelhendel los. De vijzel moet binnen 5 secon-
den stoppen.
Rijtest
1. Laat de motor draaien met de versnellingshendel in de 
eerste versnelling of de snelheidshendel op lage snelheid.
2. Druk de rijhendel in, zodat de machine begint te bewe-
gen.
3. Laat de rijhendel los. De machine moet stoppen.
