If your fax fails, an error message appears on the display. For a list of error messages and their meanings, see Clearing LCD Error Messages on page 10-9. When you receive a fax, the machine answers the call on a specified number of rings and automatically receives the fax. To change the number of rings, see Ring To Answer on page 8-2. You can receive a fax from someone you are talking to on the extension telephone without going to the fax machine.
