If Job Flow Sheets have been created, touch Job Flow Settings. The Job Flow Sheet currently linked to the folder is displayed. 1. Xerox Color 550/560 Printer User Guide 202 Scannin g Using Job Flow Sheets Job Flow Sheets allow you to execute a series of registered actions, suc\ h as Send as Fax or Print, for a file stored in a folder. Job Flow Sheets are created by the system administrator and are \ stored in the printer where they can be linked by the user to a stored file. For details, see the System Adminis\ trator Guide. Printing Stored Files using CentreWare Internet Services At your computer, launch your Web browser. 1. Type the printer’s IP address into the Web browser’s address bar, \ then press Enter to open CentreWare IS. 2. Click the Scan tab. 3. In the Scan navigation pane at the left of the page, click Folder. 4. In the Folder list, click the desired folder. If required, enter the folder password,\ then click Apply. The Folder: List of Files page appears. 5. 6. Select the desired file. Scroll the page to see the Print File section. 7. If desired, make selections from the following printing options: Paper Supply, Output Destination , Quantity , 2-Sided Printing , or Batch Print . 8. 9. Click Print File . At your computer, launch your Web browser. 1. Type the printer’s IP address into the Web browser’s address bar, \ then press Enter to open CentreWare IS. 2. Click the Scan tab. 3. In the Scan navigation pane at the left of the page, click Folder. 4. In the Folder list, click the desired folder. If required, enter the folder password,\ then click Apply. The Folder: List of Files page appears. 5. Note: If you don’t know the printer’s IP address, see Finding The Printer’s IP Address. Note: If necessary, scroll down to see all files. From the Retreiving Format drop-down list, click the desired file format. If desired, select options for the file format using the check b\ oxes and dropdown lists. Options vary by file format. 7. Click Retrieve . 8. On the Retrieve Files from Folder page, click the link to the selected file. 9. Click Save, select the desired storage location, then click Save. 10. Scanning Xerox Color 550/560 PrinterUser Guide205 Additional File Retrieve Options The following options are available when retrieving a stored file: To retrieve a single page of a multiple-page document, select Retrieve Page Enabled. In the Page Number field, type the page number. 1. To add a thumbnail view when using XPS format, select the Add Thumbnail Enabled check box. 2. To apply MRC High Compression to PDF and XPS format files, select the MRC High Compression Enabled check box. Select the desired quality from the Quality drop-down list. 3. To create a searchable-text PDF or XPS file: 4. From the Language of the Original drop-down list, select the language. Touch the Tools tab, then under Features, touch Create Folder . 2. Touch an Available folder. 3. To assign a password to the folder: 4. Using the alphanumeric keypad, enter the password. Touch Save. Under Check Folder Passcode , touch On. Assign folder attributes: 5. Touch Delete Files After Retrieval , touch Yes or No, then touch Save. Touch Delete Expired Files , touch Yes or No, then touch Save. Touch Folder Name . Using the touch screen keyboard, enter the name, then touch Save. To delete a folder using the printer touch screen: On the control panel, press the Machine Status button. 1. Touch the Tools tab, then under Features, touch Create Folder . 2. Xerox Color 550/560 Printer User Guide 210 Scannin g Scanning to a Network File Repository Scanning to a network file repository is a feature of Network Scanning. \ Documents you scan are sent to a document repository on a network server configured by your system administrator. \ A template, also created by the system administrator, defines the scan settings and the destination of the scan\ ned image. Note: Scanning to a network file repository must be configured by your system \ administrator. Note: Templates must be created using CentreWare Internet Services. For detail\ s, see the System Administrator Guide. To use the scan to a network file repository feature: Load the original on the document glass or in the document feeder. 1. On the control panel, press the Services Home button. 2. Touch Network Scanning . 3. Touch the desired template. 4. To override the template scan settings: 5. Press the green Start button. 6. For scanning options, use the four menus at the bottom of the touch scre\ en: Color Scanning, 2-Sided Scanning , Original Type and Scan Presets . For details, see Setting Scan Options .
