Turn off your computer and unplug the power cord of the machine
from the wall outlet.

Connect a Crossover LAN Cable between your machine and the PC.

1Right click My Network Places and select 
Properties.
2Right click Local Area Connection and select 
Properties.
3Select Internet Protocol (TCP/ IP), and then 
click Properties.
4Select Use the following IP address, input “IP 
address” and “Subnet mask”, then click OK.

1Open the Control Panel.
2Select Network Connections.
z Select Switch to Classic View, if using the 
Category View Mode.
3Right click Local Area Connection Enabled

4Select Internet Protocol (TCP/ IP), and then 
click Properties.
5Select Use the following  IP address, input IP 
address and Subnet mask, then click OK.
6Click CLOSE.

The following five (5) Basic Parameters must be pre-programmed into the machine.
• TCP/IP Address of your machine 
• TCP/IP Subnet Mask of your machine
• TCP/IP Address of the DNS Server
• Email Address of your machine
• Name or IP Address of the Default SMTP Mail Server

Programming Auto Dialer
Your machine has 2 types of Auto Dialers. The default di aler can be selected by changing the setting of Fax 
Parameter No.119 (QWERTY KEYBOARD).
When the setting is set to:
1:One-Touch: You can m anually select the desired One-Touch  Key, ABBR. Dialing and the Program Key.
2:Quick Name Search: You can select the station  by searching the Station Name, and the Program Name.
