71 Basic Operations Making Copies Your machine has a copy function which can make single or multiple copies. NOTE1. The copy will be reduced automatically depending on the length of the original document. 74 Polling Polling means calling other station(s) to retrieve a document. Th e other station must kn ow in advance th at you will call a nd must have a document set on the ADF or stored in the memory. You may need to set a polling password, shared by the other station, to ensure security. Be sure to set the polling password before storing the document into memory. After being polled, the documents stored in the memory will be erased automatically.
