Printer Driver CD-ROM
PostScript Drivers
A specific PPD file has been prepared for applications (such as Page-
Maker and Corel Draw) that require that a PPD file be specified when 
printing.
When specifying a PPD file while printing on Windows Vista, XP, 
Server 2003 and 2000, use the specific PPD file provided on the 
Printer Driver CD-ROM.
PCL Drivers
XPS Drivers
The XPS driver cannot be installed by using the auto-play installation 
feature of the Printer Driver CD-ROM. For more details, see the Refer-
ence Guide on the Utilities and Documentation CD-ROM. Operating System Use/Benefit
Windows Vista/XP/Server 2003/2000 These drivers give you access to all of 
the printer features, including finish-
ing and advanced layout. See also

Operating System Use/Benefit
Windows Vista/XP/Server 2003/2000 These PPD files allow you to install 
the printer for a variety of platforms, 
drivers, and applications.
Macintosh OS X These files are required in order to 
use the printer driver for each operat-
ing system.

Download Manager

an optional hard disk kit is installed, 
enables fonts and overlay data to be

Status Monitor (Windows only) The current status of the printer in 
addition to the status of consumables 
and error information can be viewed.

status monitoring and network settings
