    							TaskGestureAccess Discovery mode
    Discovery mode allows you to find and interact 
    with points of regard, such as letters, words, 
    buttons, links, menu items, and pictures. These 
    points of regard are highlighted.
    Tap and hold the point of regard with one finger, 
    and then move your finger. The point of regard is 
    set to the object under your finger.Announce where the point of regard is set on your 
    screen.Tap the screen once with two fingers.
    You can use this gesture as a "Where am I" locator 
    if you get lost on the screen. The 
    BlackBerry 
    Screen Reader
     reads the description, the location 
    of the point of regard, and the application name.
    Activate a point of regard
    When you activate a point of regard, you indicate 
    that you want to interact with that part of the 
    display.
    Double-tap the point of regard with one finger.Press and holdDouble-tap and hold.Move to the next or previous point of regardSwipe right with one finger to go to the next point 
    of regard. Swipe left with one finger to go to the 
    previous point of regard.Pan or scroll a listSwipe up with two fingers to scroll toward the top. 
    Swipe down with two fingers to scroll toward the 
    bottom. This action sets a new point of regard.
    An audio cue indicates that the scrolling action is 
    complete, and the

    2.Double-tap  Settings to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Settings menu.
    3.Double-tap Accessibility to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the Accessibility option.
    4.Double-tap ScreenReader to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the ScreenReader
    option.
    5.Double-tap DarkScreenMode to set the point of regard. Then, tap to activate the DarkScreen
    Mode
     option.
    6.Close the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings in one of the following ways:
    tSwipe up from the bottom of the screen to minimize the screen. With the point of regard on the 
    minimized app, double-tap with two fingers to close the app.
    tDouble-tap to return to the Accessibility screen. Tap  again to return to the System Settings 
    screen. With the point of regard on the minimized app, double-tap with two fingers to close the 
    app.
    Adjustthevolume,speed,andpitchusinggestures
    You might want to increase the speed of the BlackBerry Screen Reader when you browse the Internet, 
    or slow it down when you receive instructions. You can increase the volume when youhre outside, or 
    decrease it when youhre at home or in a quieter space. You might also want to adjust the pitch. The 
    BlackBerry Screen Reader lets you adjust the volume, speed, and pitch to provide a personalized 
    experience for any situation.
    When the BlackBerry Screen Reader is on, you can use gestures to complete tasks.

    Adjustthetextorpunctuationverbosityusinggestures
    When you are learning how to use the BlackBerry Screen Reader, you can set the verbosity to a higher 
    setting. After you get more familiar with your 
    BlackBerry device, you can change the verbosity to include 
    less information. For example, when the 
    BlackBerry Screen Reader pauses at the end of a sentence, it 
    might not be necessary for the screen reader to indicate that there is a period or exclamation mark.

    							You can adjust two types of verbosity in the BlackBerry Screen Reader. Text verbosity includes 
    noncontent words such as labels, the current list item of the total list items, and navigation tips. 
    Punctuation verbosity includes the amount of punctuation that is read.
    When you turn on the BlackBerry Screen Reader, you use gestures to complete tasks.
    1.When you have the BlackBerry Screen Reader turned on, swipe down and to the right with one finger 
    to access Quick Tasks mode.
    2.Tap with one finger to open the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings.
    3.To set the text verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a)Tap Verbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b)Double-tap with one finger to activate the Verbosity field as the point of regard and open the 
    drop-down list of options.
    c)Tap with one finger set the point of regard on either the high verbosity or low verbosity options.
    d)Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    4.To set the punctuation verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a)Tap PunctuationVerbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b)Double-tap with one finger to activate the PunctuationVerbosity field as the point of regard.
    c)Tap with one finger set the point of regard on your selected punctuation verbosity option.
    d)Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    After 3 seconds, your device exits Quick Tasks mode.

    6.To set punctuation verbosity, complete the following steps:
    a)Tap PunctuationVerbosity with one finger to set the point of regard.
    b)Double-tap with one finger to activate the PunctuationVerbosity field as the point of regard and 
    open the drop-down list of options.

    							c)Double-tap None to set the point of regard if you donht want any punctuation replaced with a 
    spoken equivalent.
    d)Double-tap Some if you want the following symbols to be replaced with a spoken equivalent: # 
    (number), $ (dollar), % (percent sign), & (ampersand), * (asterisk), + (plus), / (slash), = (equal), @ (at 
    sign), and ^ (caret).
    e)Double-tap Most if you want to include the previous list, plus the following symbols: "(quotation 
    mark), ( (left parentheses), ) (right parentheses), - (hyphen), _ (underscore), : (colon), ; (semicolon), 
     (right angle bracket), [ (left bracket), ] (right bracket), \ (backslash), | (pipe 
    symbol), | (grave accent or apostrophe), ~ (tilde), { (left brace), and } (right brace).
    f)Double-tap All if you want to include all the previous lists of symbols, plus the following 
    symbols: ? (question mark) and ! (exclamation point).
    g)Tap with one finger set the point of regard on your selected punctuation verbosity option.
    h)Double-tap with one finger to select your choice.
    7.Close the BlackBerry Screen Reader settings in one of the following ways:
    tSwipe up from the bottom of the screen to minimize the screen. With the point of regard on the 
    minimized app, double-tap with two fingers to close the app.
    tTap  to set the point of regard. Then, double-tap to return to the Accessibility screen. Tap  to 
    set the point of regard. Then tap 
     again to return to the System Settings screen. With the point of 
    regard on the minimized app, double-tap with two fingers to close the app.
    UsingaudiocueswithBlackBerryScreenReader
    Your BlackBerry Screen Reader can emit audio cues for events on your BlackBerry device. By default, 
    this setting is on and you hear audio cues for the following:
    tA task error
    tA task is starting or finishing
    tA page or screen is refreshed or changed
    tYou changed a switch, checkbox or option
    tA menu is opened or closed
