For maximum distance and noise free operation,the recommended base unit location is: Away from electrical appliances such as TVs, radios, or personal computers.In a HIGH and CENTRAL location with no obstructions such as walls. Raise the antenna vertically. For best performance Place the handset on the cradle of the base unit for about 4 hours before initial use. Slowly place the handset on the cradle vertically (), then lean it back (). lAbeep will sound, and the following will be displayed for an instant time on the base unit.
