Programming Names and Text Messages
Several programs (e.g., Program 0403 - Selectable Display Messages) require you to enter text. Use the follow-
ing chart when entering and editing text. When using the DSS keys, press the key once for the first character,
twice for the second character, etc.  For example, to enter a C, press DSS1 three times. Press DND to toggle be-
tween upper and lower case.

What the Display Prompts Mean
You can tell the type of data the system wants you to enter by looking at the display prompts (see the following
chart).
Display Prompts
