1.3 Defining Battery Operation The DVA derives its operating power from the station port; however, the DVA also has an internal battery for supplying power to the memory that holds the stored messages. In the event that the DXP Plus should lose power or should someone disconnect the DVA for some reason, the battery provides back up power to save the stored messages.
