    							To remove duplicate calendar entries by deleting your local device data, do the following:
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2. Tap 
     Settings  > Accounts .
    3. Tap

    4. Tap  ClearLocalCalendar .
    CAUTION: Clearing your local data will permanently delete any calendar entries that you saved just
    locally to your device.
    Contacts
    AbouttheContactsapp
    When you add contacts to the Contacts app on your BlackBerry device, connecting with them is easy.
    The Contacts app is integrated with the BlackBerry Hub, the BlackBerry Calendar, and other apps, so
    you can quickly add contacts to relevant messages and events or share your pictures and videos.
    If you added an email account or social networking account to your device, contacts from those
    accounts can appear in your contact list. Iths simple to find the people that you want to connect with
    because your device automatically merges contacts who share first and last names, email addresses, or
    mobile phone numbers.

    2. Enter the information for the contact. For additional fields, tap

    Tip: To choose the account or storage location for a contact, tap the  Saveto button at the top of the
    screen. Select the checkbox beside an account or storage location.
    CopycontactstoandfromyourSIMcard
    Your SIM card can store contact names and phone numbers. Copying contacts to and from your SIM
    card allows you to easily transfer contacts from one device to another. When you insert a SIM card into
    your BlackBerry device, you can view contacts that are stored on the SIM card in your contact list. You can copy the SIM card contacts to your device memory so that the contacts are available to you even if
    the SIM card is removed.
    You can also use BlackBerry Link to back up your contacts on a computer.
    Note: If you added a work account to your device and your administrator turned on BlackBerry Balance,
    you canht copy work contacts to your SIM card.

    Stopautomaticallymergingcontacts By default, your BlackBerry device automatically merges contacts when iths clear that those contacts are
    the same person (for example, they share the same first and last names, mobile phone number,
    BlackBerry ID, and so on). You can choose whether or not you want your device to merge your contacts automatically.
    1. In the Contacts app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2. Tap

    3. Turn off the  AutomaticallyMergeContacts  switch.
    Tip: If you also want to unmerge your existing contacts, turn on the  UnmergeExistingContacts switch.

    							Contactviews
    When you tap a contact in the Contacts app, your BlackBerry device shows you lots of details about the person. Some info, like a contacths birthday, the company the person works for, and the personhs
    picture, is pulled from social networking accounts that you added to your device, like Twitter or LinkedIn. Other info can be added by you. There are three tabs, or views, that you can tap through.Details
    This view shows you an overview of contactsh details: how to contact them, where they work, their
    birthdays, and other important information about them. You can tap on phone numbers or email
    addresses to start connecting with contacts.
    Updates
    This view shows you your contactsh most recent updates from social networking apps like Twitter
    and Facebook. If you added a contacths company name, the Updates view also shows you news
    about that company. Tap on an update to see it in a social networking app or the browser.
    Activity
    This view shows you upcoming and past interactions with your contacts. Tap on any activity to godirectly to that event on your device.

    If you have multiple accounts on your BlackBerry device, you might be able to copy a contact to one of
    those accounts, or to your SIM card.

    CreateacontactgroupintheContactsapp You can group contacts together so that you can easily send messages to everyone in the group, set upmeetings, and share files. You can find your groups in the contact list or filter your contact list to show

    You can quickly filter your contact list, to see only specific contacts (for example, BBM or contact
    groups).

    Hideasetofcontacts
    You can completely remove a type of account from your contact list. For example, if you mainly follow
    celebrities on Twitter, you might not want to see them in your contact list.
    1. In the Contacts app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

    3. In the  ShowAccountinContactList  section, turn off the switch beside the account that you want
    to remove.
    SortyourcontactsintheContactsapp
    By default, your contacts are sorted by first name, but you can also sort by last name or company name.

    Your BlackBerry device automatically merges contacts when iths clear that those contacts are the same

    If you added a social networking account to your BlackBerry device and youhre using a profile picture as
    a contacths picture, then the picture changes when your contact changes his or her profile picture.
    Ihaveduplicatecontactentries
    If you imported contact entries using BlackBerry Link, you might see duplicate entries on your device after syncing your device and computer.
    You can remove duplicates by merging contacts on your device, or by clearing your local data on your
    device.
    To remove duplicate contact entries by deleting your local device data, do the following:
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2. Tap 
     Settings  > 
    Accounts .
    3. Tap

    minute, tap the alarm time at the bottom of the screen. Tap the  AlarmTime drop-down list and scroll up
    or down to adjust the time that the alarm is set for.
    Setadditionalalarms
    You can set multiple alarms to go off on the same day, or you can set additional alarms to go off on different days at different times. You can keep track of all the alarms you set by naming them, and you
    can set a different alarm tone, recurrence, and snooze duration for each alarm.

    desired time.

    Turnonbedsidemode When bedside mode is turned on, youhre not notified of new messages, but any alarms that you have set
    will sound and your BlackBerry device displays the time, dimly lit. You can also set the option to turn on Battery Saving Mode, or to turn off wireless connections when in Bedside Mode.

    Tip: When your alarm goes off in Bedside Mode, you can tap anywhere on the screen to snooze the
    alarm. To turn off the alarm in Bedside Mode, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
    ChangeyourBedsideModesettings You can choose to automatically turn on Battery Saving Mode, or turn of all wireless connections, forwhen your device is in Bedside Mode.

    CustomizeyourBedsideModenotifications
    By default, all of your notifications are set to silent in Bedside Mode. You can change settings like the
    volume level and ringtone to personalize the Bedside Mode profile, or you can choose to hear a
    notification for only phone calls when your device is in Bedside Mode.

    3. Change the  Volume, Sound , Vibrate , NotifyDuringCalls , InstantPreviews , or LED  settings.
    4. If necessary, to set customized app notifications that override the settings for the notification profile,

    Tip: To turn on only your phone ringer in Bedside Mode, complete steps 1-4. Tap  Phone. Turn on the
    Sound  switch.
