Configurator, General projector settings 6.2 Control interface Overview Image 6-2 Control interface The following items can be consulted and are read only values: •Projector name: name given to the projector during the creation. •Serial number: serial number of the connected projector. •Projector overview - Inputfiles per input module - Lamp on or off: indicated by a light beam (yellow). Black means that the lamp is off. - Name of selected test pattern (with a preview if available) if one is selected. TheCustomer identifiercan be changed. Press theLampbutton to toggle the lamp on or off. When toggling the lamp from off to on, a Switching on window is display as long as the lamp is not fully on. (image 6-5) Image 6-5 Switching lamp on 6.4 Basic controls, pause setting What can be done? The image projection can be interrupted for a short time. The image disappears but full power is retained for immediate restarting. Shutter is closed when pause is activated. The pause status is indicated by the led color in front of the pause button and by the text indication right next to the button. • red: pause is activated, shutter is closed. The on-screen text boxes can be switched OFF so that an adjustment during the operation of the projector is not visible on the screen. The adjustment indication remains visible on the local LCD display. The text on/off status is indicated by the led color in front of the text button and by the text indication right next to the button. • red: text is off, nu boxes visible on the screen. PressTe x tbutton to toggle betweenTe x t o nandTe x t o f f. 6.6 Basic control, Wake up What can be done ? A projector not used for a certain period goes into a sleep mode. To wake up this projector, click on the Wake up button. When in sleep mode some features are disabled (grayed out). Wake up the projector to re-enable these features. 6. Configurator, General projector settings 6.7 Test pattern short cuts What can be done? Apredefined pattern can be set immediately on the projection screen and cleared again. To s e t a p a t t e r n 1. Click on one of the predefined buttons. (image 6-9) The selected pattern is displayed by the projector when the lamp is on and the shutter is open (not paused). The following patterns are available: - Full screen red - Full screen green - Full screen blue - Full screen black - Full screen white - Checkerboard - Color bars 2. To clear a projected pattern, clickClear. Image 6-9 6.8 Advanced controls 6.8.1 Input locking What is possible? The output signal can be locked on an internal sync signal or on the sync signal of one of the input sources. Input locking can avoid that some windows in the output signal are slowly moving or trembling. When automatic is selected, the lock will be set on the input signal of the main window. This frequency will be used to lock on. 6.8.2 No signal Whatcanhappenwhennosignal When no signal is available at an input, the output can be set to blue or black or a personal defined logo (image) can be displayed. A custom image, logo can be uploaded on the projector and used as projected image when no input signal is available. Such an upload can only be done when connected via a network. Uploading via a MAC OS is not possible. How to upload image 1. While custom image is selected (1), click onSelect(2). (image 6-12) The requirements for the image are displayed (3). The requirements are : - resolution 1920 x 1200 - png image format 2. If you want to continue, clickYe s(4). A browser window opens (5). 3. Browse to thefile and select the desiredfile (6). 4. ClickChoose png image(7). A question window opens to ask if you are sure to upload the previewed image. 5. ClickOKto upload the image (8). The image will be uploaded but no preview will be displayed. 6. To display a preview, click onPreview(9). When no input signal, the projector can automatically shutdown after a certain predefined time. How to set up 1.
