Image 15-5 Measurements The different measurements are grouped by Temperature, Fan speed, and Voltages. An indication is given about the number of errors and warnings. The symbol in front indicates the status: • Green means OK, within the limits. • Yellow means in warning condition. • Red means in error condition. The full view is the default view. To see a condensed view, uncheck the check box in front ofFull view. While launching the lens calculator, the complete Barco lens calculator starts up. Start up To start up the Lens calculator module, just click on the lens calculator icon () on the navigation button bar or click onModulesand selectLens calculator. 16.2 Launching the lens calculator How to launch 1. Click onLaunch Lens Calculator. (image 16-1) A Macromedia Flash Player window opens with the lens calculator. Click on one of the 3 buttons to start a calculation. Lens calculator Image 16-1 Start up lens calculator 16.3 Functions of the lens calculator Calculate lens Starting from a typical projector type, , the screen width used to project on and the distance between the projector and the screen, Starting from : • a typical projector, selectable in Choose projector •screenwidth • distance between projector and screen a lens can be calculated to be used in the given circumstances. Calculate distance Start by selecting a projector and then a lens. Enter the screen width. The result is given in red at the bottom line of the calculation panel. The minimum and maximum screen width is given in red at the bottom line of the calculation panel. 16.4 Calculate a lens How to calculate a lens 1. Click on the drop down box belowChoose projectorand select the desired projector. (image 16-2) The aspect ratio is automaticallyfilled out. 2. Click in the inputfield of screen width and enter the correct value Or, click on the slider and hold down the mouse button and drag the slider until the correct screen width is reached. 3. Click in the inputfield of projector distance and enter the correct distance Or, click on the slider and hold down the mouse button and drag the slider until the correct distance is reached. 4. Click onCalculate. An overview is given of the lenses for that type of projector. The highlighted line indicates the best lens for the given circumstances.
