The Reset Menu only appears in the Main Menu if the printer is powered on while simultaneously holding down the Online and Enter keys. It is removed after the printer is powered off. Figure 1.17 shows the menu hierarchy. Items in italics appear only if the appropriate option is installed. Refer to Table 1.21 on page 1-110 for step-by-step instructions. The available values are: Yes No* All NVM values are set to factory defaults, with the exception of: “Language” in the System Menu and “Defaults” in the System Menu which are not affected. No NVM values associated with the Ethernet or Token Ring interfaces are reset. Ethernet and Token Ring values may be reset to factory defaults via the “Network Defaults” item.1.
