Origin Menu 
Allows you to set the location at which the printing of data will begin (i.e., its origin). Set the menu 
when reprinting on the margin with changing the printing data position to the printed media.

Prev. Stick Menu
Allows you to set up to prevent the media from sticking when printing starts.
Note:
•When the Take-up menu is set to “Type 1,” the setting for the Prev. Stick menu is 
disabled. Take-up menu
8264E only - Head Fan Menu
Allows you to set up Head Fan operation. If print blurring or dot losses occur, activate the head fan.

CR Movement Menu
Allows you to set up the range over which the print head moves while printing.
Overwrite Cnt Menu
Allows you to set up the overwrite count per line.
Overwrite Wait Menu 
Allows you to set up the waiting time while overwrite printing.
Note:
•Narrow media may not be warmed enough by the heater, causing lower print quality.
In this case, set the Overwrite Wait time and warm up the media.

CRMovementThe print head changes the range of the print data width.
This improves the print speed since this option decreases the 
transferring range of the print head.
MachineThe print head moves from the origin to the maximum 
paper width.

Auto Cleaning Menu 
Allows you to set up the auto cleaning interval. If the period of time since the last print job exceeds this 
setting, the print head is cleaned automatically before the next print job begins. This is to prevent the 
print head from clogging.
Ink Status Menu
Displays the status of ink cartridges installed in the ink cartridge slot.
Note:
•Always use genuine, recommended ink cartridges. If you use non-recommended ink 
cartridges, ink status is not displayed correctly in the Ink Status menu.

Roll Length Menu 
Allows you to set up the roll media length.

Allows you to set up the roll media length. If you press the [Enter] key while one of the "RollX" settings 
is displayed, you get the following sub-menu.
Note:
•Adjust the roll media length whenever you replace the roll media. If you don’t, the 
remaining quantity of roll media is not displayed correctly.

Head Wash Menu 
Allows you to perform the HeadWash procedure.
Note:
•Make sure to use a dedicated cleaning fluid (Xerox P/N 108R00735).
CR Maintenance Menu
Allows you to perform maintenance. Use this to clean the cleaning wiper and the outside of the print 
head.

cleaning cartridges.

Initialization Menu 
Allows you to returns the setting of the printer’s menus to their defaults.
Life Times Menu 
Allows you to display the remaining operational life span of each part.
Notes:
•When replacing a part whose operational life span has ended:
–There is no charge for replacing a part within the warranty period or under the 
contract.
–You are liable for the cost of repairs under conditions other than mentioned above.
•Do not keep using a part whose operational life span has ended (i.e., when there are no 
asterisks remaining). Problems caused by doing so will not be covered by the warranty.

MediaTypeReturns the settings of the MediaType menu to their

Life TimesHeadDisplays the remaining operational life span expected for 
each part.
•The full operational life span of a part is represented by five 
asterisks (100%).
•As the part deteriorates, the number of asterisks decreases 
one by one. (Each asterisk represents 20% of life span.)
•The part should be changed when all of the asterisks have 
disappeared, and "Change" is displayed.
Contact your local Xerox dealer for replacement parts.
