If the period of time since the last print job exceeds this setting, the print head is cleaned automatically before the next print job begins. This is to prevent the print head from clogging. If you use non-recommended ink cartridges, ink status is not displayed correctly in the Ink Status menu. Notes: •When replacing a part whose operational life span has ended: –There is no charge for replacing a part within the warranty period or under the contract. –You are liable for the cost of repairs under conditions other than mentioned above. •Do not keep using a part whose operational life span has ended (i.e., when there are no asterisks remaining).
