DIALING ASSISTANCE 
FOR OUTSIDE CALLERS
Outside callers who do not know the extension number of 
the person they wish to reach have three different types of 
assistance available to them: 
Dial by Name
 enables them to reach the person by dialin

a few letters of their name.
Extension Assistance
 plays recorded announcements of 
extension numbers.
Single Digit Dialing
 allows the caller to reach a prepro-
grammed extension by dialing one digit.
