9 Getting to Know Your Machine Precaution Denotes hazards that could result in minor injury, or damage to the machine. Do not install the machine near heating, or an air conditioning unit. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Install the machine on a flat surface, leave at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space between the machine and other objects. Do not block the ventilation openings.
