    Perform the following settings to activate the alarm notification function.
    Settings of this software
    qCheck the [Alarm(A)] box for [Pop-up notification] on the option window.
    Refer to page 142 for further information.
    wCheck the [Alarm(M)] box on the recorder registration window of this software to receive an alarm notifica-
    tion.
    Refer to page 122 for further information.
    Settings of the recorder
    Perform settings for Panasonic Alarm Protocol or FTP send by alarm.
    Perform settings for the FTP send by alarm protocol.
    Refer to the operating instructions of the recorder in use.

    Notification of an Alarm Occurrence
    A pop-up window will be displayed upon alarm occurrence in conjunction with recorders FTP Send by Alarm or
    Panasonic Alarm Protocol   function.
    The pop-up window displays a single still image captured at the alarm event.
    When multiple alarms occur, multiple pop-up windows will be displayed (one pop-up window for each alarm).
    Important:
    This function will not work when the downloader is closed. Always run the downloader, but the main application
    does not need to run all the time.
    Note:
    When received alarm notifications sequentially, it may fail to display the alarm image (using FTP alarm transmis-
    sion function) or may fail to monitor live images of the camera corresponding to the alarm occurrence (using the
    Panasonic alarm protocol  ).

    Operate the alarm notification window
    
    Select  Exit(X)... from File(F) on the menu bar.
    
    Select Adjust to the size of the window(F) from
    View(V) on the menu bar.
    
    Select Reset to the original size(R) from
    View(V) on the menu bar.

    Notification of Error
    The error notification will be displayed in the pop up window when the occurrence of an error is notified by the
    recorder.
    Note:
    This function will not work when the downloader is closed. Always run the downloader, but, the main application
    does not need to run all the time.

    The recorder name in which the error took place

    Error description
    t[Save(S)…] button
    Click this to save the error notification log in the
    CSV format.

    The window will be closed. Perform the following settings to activate the error notification function.

    Check the [Interval(I)] box on the recorder registration window of this software to acquire error notification..

    Error log window
    The error log window will be launched when an error log is received. It is also possible to open this window by
    selecting Tool(T) - Error notification log(E) from the menu bar.

    Right click the downloader icon in the system tray.
    The pop-up menu will be displayed.
    Step 2
    Select Exit(X)….
    A message window will be displayed.
    Step 3
    Click the [OK] button.
    The downloader will be closed.
    Start & Exit the Downloader
    Start the downloader
    This is the resident application (in the system tray). Once the PC is turned on, the downloader runs in the back-
    ground of the PC.
    The downloader icon will be displayed in the system
    tray when the downloader is active.
    Note:
    When the downloader icon is not displayed in the
    system tray, select WV-AS65 from the Start
    menu (Start - All Programs - Panasonic - Disk
    Recorder Management Software - WV-AS65).

    Select WV-AS65 from the Start menu (Start - All
    Programs - Panasonic - Disk Recorder
    Management Software - WV-AS65).

    Notes:
    •When the downloader is closed, the active down-
    loading will be canceled. The schedule download
    will also not be performed. Before exiting the down-
    loader, confirm that there is no active downloading
    using the downloader. Refer to page 114 for
    descriptions of how to check the download status.
    Refer to the current settings on the schedule win-
    dow (page 136) for the schedule download.
    •When the downloader is closed, both the download
    list (page 115) and the failed download list (page
    116) will be cleared. Check the download list and
    the failed download list before exiting the down-
    loader. Refer to page 114 for descriptions of how to
    check the download status.

    Check the Download Status
    The downloader will start downloading the recorded images according to the schedule settings.
    Display the downloader
    window
    Step 1
    Right click the downloader icon in the system tray.
    The pop-up menu will be displayed.
    Step 2
    Select Open Downloader window(D).
    The downloader window will be displayed.
    Refer to the following for further information about the
    downloader window.

    (3) Download list
    The download information registered in the downloader will be displayed in this area.
    Note:
    It is possible to perform up to 3 downloads concurrently (default). When performing 4 or more downloads , it may
    take additional time, or download failure may occur. It is recommended to avoid concurrent downloads if possi-
    ble.

    downloaded prior to the information with the priority

    (4) Failed download list
    The failed download information will be displayed in this area. When downloading has failed, the download informa-
    tion will be moved to the failed download list. It is possible to move it back to the download list.

    Select this to move the selected download informa-
    tion on the download list to the failed download list.

    Click this to move the selected information in the
    failed download list back to the download list.

    Select this to delete the selected download information
    on the download list or the failed download list.
    (7) Status bar
    The latest download log will be displayed on this bar.

    Delete the download information
    Step 1
    Display the WV-AS65 Downloader window.
    Step 2
    Select the desired download information to be deleted.
    Then, select Delete(E)… from Download(D) on the
    menu bar or click the [Delete] button on the tool bar.
    The Deletion confirmation window will be displayed.
    Step 3
    Click the [Yes] button.
    The selected download information will be deleted.
    Important:
    It is impossible to recover the deleted download
    information.
    Move the download information to the failed download list
    Step 1
    Display the WV-AS65 Downloader window.
    Step 2
    Select the desired download information to be moved
    to the failed download list.
    Step 3
    Click the [Move to the failed download list] button on
    the tool bar or select Move to the failed download
    list(P) from Download(D) on the menu bar.
    The moved information will not be subject to download.

    Move the download information on the failed download list to
    the download list
    Step 1
    Display the WV-AS65 Downloader window.
    Step 2
    Select the desired download information on the failed
    download list to be moved to the download list.
    Step 3
    Click the [Move to the download list] button on the tool
    bar or select Move to the download list(S) from
    Download(D) on the menu bar.
    The selected download information will be moved to
    the download list.
    Notes:
    •The download list and the failure list can file up to
    1 000 items each.
    When the download information on the download
    list has reached the maximum possible download
    number, it is impossible to move the download
    information to the download list.
    After the current downloads are finished, follow the
    instructions again from step 1.
    It is also possible to start downloading by the fol-
    lowing methods:
    •Delete the unwanted download information from
    the download list.
    •Move the unwanted download information from the
    download list to the failed download list.

    Check the download log
    Step 1
    Display the WV-AS65 Downloader window.
    Step 2
    Select Download log(L)... from Tool(T) on the menu
    bar.
    The Download log window will be displayed.
    Perform the following settings:qTime & Date
    The time and date when the log was filed will be
    displayed. The time and date will be followed by an
    asterisk [
    *] when daylight saving is applied.
    wEvent
    The descriptions of the log will be displayed. Refer
    to the following page for further information.
    eID
    The download ID (attached to the download infor-
    mation) will be displayed.
    rRecorder
    The recorder title will be displayed.
    tCH
    The camera channel number will be displayed.
    ySchedule title
    The schedule download title will be displayed.
    uFROM
    The download start time will be displayed.
    iTO
    The download end time will be displayed.

    mation on the failed download list reached the maximum registration num-
