14Close the front cover.
Cleaning the Media Feed Rollers for Optional Tray 2
Important!
Be sure to remove the duplex option before cleaning the media 
feed rollers for Tray 2.
1If the duplex option is installed, remove it.
aOpen the outer cover of the duplex unit, then hold the duplexer 
against the printer and remove the screws holding it to the printer.

bClose the duplex cover, then lift up on the bottom of the duplexer, 
and pull it off the printer. 
2Remove the dust cover from Tray 1.
3Close Tray 1 and the output tray.

4Lift the printer off of Tray 2 and temporarily place it on a sturdy flat 
surface.
5Clean the media feed rollers by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.

6Reinstall the printer on top of Tray 2.
7Open the output tray and tray 1, then reattach the dust cover.
8If you removed the duplex option in step 1, reinstall it.
Cleaning the Media Feed Rollers in the Duplex Attachment
Important!
Be sure to remove the duplex option before cleaning the media 
feed rollers for the attachment.
1Remove the duplexer.

aOpen the outer cover of the duplex unit and remove the screws 
holding it to the printer while holding the duplexer against the 
printer. 
bClose the duplex cover., then lift up on the bottom of the duplexer, 
and pull it off the printer.

2Remove the dust cover from Tray 1.
3Close Tray 1 and the output tray.
4Lift the printer off of the duplex attachment and temporarily place it on a 
sturdy flat surface.

6Lift the printer and reinstall it on top of the attachment.
7Open the output tray and tray 1, then reattach the dust cover.
8Reinstall the duplexer.
