Set the TN2301 switc h to the Restore (RSTR) p osition d uring the ad ministration to prevent the c ab inet from g oing into the survive mod e. 2. At the rear of the SRP, set the c irc uit b reaker to ON . This starts the system initialization and test. Administer the Release 7r and SRP !CAUTION: Do not save announc ements to the SRP translation c ard . NOTE: Ad ministering the SRP may take several hours. NOTE: This d oc umentation assumes that the Release 7r manag ement terminal and the SRP manag ement terminal are loc ated in the same room. If this is not the c ase, make the ap p rop riate p rovisions. NOTE: An “ init” log in is req uired to p erform the following . Contac t the reg ional CSA (Customer Software Assoc iate) to assig n the Offer Categ ory option. Maintenanc e c ap abilities to initialize the system and ac c ess to either an internal or external mod em are the only c ommand op tions availab le until the Offer Categ ory op tion is set. NOTE: Not all ad ministration should b e c op ied direc tly (Examp le: c overag e paths, abbreviated dial lists, and bridged appearances). These ad ministration items may not b e valid if the SRP g oes into survival mode. NOTE: The following are examples of the typ es of ad ministration that need to b e ad d ed to the SRP. Sinc e c onfig urations and ad ministration varies for every switc h, it is not p ossib le to list all of the ad ministration that is needed for your SRP.
