Using the Scanner59 Chapter 2 Standby Mode Settings The scanner is designed to save energy by going into Standby mode if it is not used for a certain period of time. This time period can be set to [After 10 secs] (factory set default), [After 10 mins], [After 1 hour] or [After 4 hours]. You can change the Standby mode settings on the maintenance screen of CANON DR-6030C USB properties, in the same way as the long document mode described previously.

60Using the Scanner MultiStream Function If the application that you are using supports the MultiStream function, then it is possible to scan a document one time and simultaneously output two types of images (Primary image and Secondary image).
