40Using the Scanner Starting CapturePerfect 3.1 with the Start Button DR-6030C and CapturePerfect 3.1 support Windows’ event functions. After installing the ISIS/TWAIN driver and CapturePerfect 3.1, you can have CapturePerfect 3.1 start automatically when you push the scanner start button by setting the Windows event function. 44Using the Scanner 2.In the initial status, all the applications displaying [Send to this application] are checked. Select one application to be started with the start button and uncheck the checkboxes for the other applications and then click [OK] (For Windows XP, [Apply]). IMPORTANT Check [Disable device events] to not start applications from the start button. 3.Click [OK] to close [CANON DR-6030C USB Properties]. 4.Restart Windows to enable the new settings for the event function.
