RegisteringFavoriteSettings(Customprofiles)You can register the favorite copying, scanning, or faxing settings and call them up from the HOME screen. You can register up to 20 settings. RegisteringPrinter'sRootCertificatetoWebBrowserIf the printer's root certificate has not been registered to the web browser, a message to warn you that thesecure connection is not guaranteed may appear. When you display Remote UI for the first time on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, download the root certificate, and then register it to the web browser. The secure connection will be confirmed and a message will not appear. How to register the root certificate varies depending on the web browser. 8.Select Next on CertificateImportWizard screen.9. If CompletingtheCertificateImportWizard appears, select Finish. SecurityWarning screen is displayed. 10. Make sure that thumbprint on SecurityWarning screen matches printer's thumbprint. For printer's thumbprint, press the HOME button, select Setup -> Devicesettings -> LANsettings -> ConfirmLANsettings , check Rootcert.thumbprint(SHA-1) or Rootcert.thumbprint(SHA-256) . 11. If thumbprint on SecurityWarning screen matches printer's thumbprint, select Yes. 12. Select Yes on CertificateImportWizard screen. The root certificate registration is completed. ForSafari 1. Select Download on Remote UI. Downloading the root certificate is started. 2. Open the download file. AddCertificates screen is displayed. 3. Select Add. 4. Make sure that thumbprint of certificate detail information matches printer's thumbprint. For printer's thumbprint, press the HOME button, select Setup -> Devicesettings -> LANsettings -> ConfirmLANsettings , check Rootcert.thumbprint(SHA-1) or Rootcert.thumbprint(SHA-256) . 5.
