Installing the Software
 Downloading from the Canon Web site
You can download the following software and Software Instruction 
Manuals from the Canon Web site.
www.canon.com/icpd
This software enables you to play back the movies you shot, 
consecutively play back  movie files that were split up, and merge the 
split movie files and save it as a si ngle file. You can also grab movie 
frames and save them as still photos.
EOS MOVIE Utility
1Insert the EOS DIGITAL Soluti on Disk into the computer.
 For Macintosh, double-click to open the CD-ROM icon displayed 
on the desktop, then double-click on [ setup].
2Click [Easy Installation] and follow the on-screen 
instructions to install.
3After the software is installed, remove the CD-ROM.
Installing the Software
 Do not connect the camera to a computer before you install the 
software. The software will not be installed correctly.
  If there is a previous version of the software already installed on the 
computer, follow the procedure below to install the latest version. (The 
previous version will be overwritten.)

4Double-click the copied PDF file.
 To read the Software Instruction Manuals (PDF files) on the 
computer, PDF viewing software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader 
DC must be installed (latest version recommended).
  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC can be downloaded for free from the 
Internet.
