Reset a call timer A call timer provides the estimated duration of calls. About hearing aid mode In hearing aid mode, or telecoil mode, the magnetic signal of your BlackBerry smartphone is modified to an appropriate level and frequency response to be picked up by hearing aids that are equipped with telecoils. Set up automatic dialing for voice mail access You can set up your smartphone to access your voice mail automatically, by storing the voice mail password. With the voice mail password stored you don't have to enter it manually each time you retrieve your voice mail messages. To access your voice mail messages you need the voice mail access number and a password. The voice mail access number is the phone number you call to access your voice mail account, and is usually loaded onto the smartphone by your wireless service provider. Tip: With some voice mail systems you need to add a longer pause before entering the password. I can't check my voice mail Try the following actions: •If you have more than one phone number associated with your BlackBerry smartphone and you're trying to check your voice mail using a shortcut key, your smartphone calls the voice mail access number for your active phone number. Check the voice mail for your alternate phone number. •You need a voice mail access number to check your voice mail.
