    3. Press the [#] key to scroll  through the baud rates. 
    Available  Baud rates are: 1200, 2400, and 4800.
    4. Press the HOLD  button  to save the  desired  entries.

    To  place an outside call  when  LCR is  enabled in the system:
    1. Dial [9].

    LCR Queue Call B ack
    If an  LCR Queue Call  Back is activated:
    1. Whe n t el eph one i s  si gnal ed,  ans we r  t he c a ll . D es ir ed 
    te le pho ne  nu m ber  wi ll  a u to ma ti c al ly  be  re di al ed.
    2. Wait for  answer, then lift the handset or use  the 
    spe ake rphone  to  converse  with  the  p arty.
    To Cancel an active LCR Queue:
    1. Di al  th e LC R Que ue Canc e l c ode [62 6 ].
    2. Replace the  handset or press the ON/OFF button.

    2. Dial [644] followed  by the three-digit VM Index number 
    (001–2 5 5).  A  confi rma ti on to ne sound s. I f an er r or i s made  
    dur ing  ent r y,  an  er ror  t one  sound s.
    To use a m ail box but ton:
    The called station presses  the MAILBOX flexible  button 
    and  goes  on- hook. T he  interna l or external call  is  then 
    tr ans fer r ed  to  t he  VM  p o r t b y t he  te le pho ne  s yst em.

    3. Press the MSG  button, the  called party’s  MSG button will 
    fl ash sl ow ly.

    The MUTE button provides privacy during  speakerphone  or 
    hands et op eration  by d isa bling  the  microphone .
    1. Pres s the MUTE  button while of f-hook  on s pea kerphone 
    or  handset to ac tivate.  (MUTE button LED lights  steady.)
    2. Press the MUTE button again to  deactivate.
    Name In Display
    Eve ry exte nsion (Key  or  SLT ) has  the  cap ability  to  prog ram  your 
    name  so  th at  pe ople  us ing  di spl ay  te le phone s w il l  see  you r 
    name  instea d of  your station  numbe r.
    1. Di al  [6 90 ].
    2. Enter your name  (up to seven characters) using the key 
    pad map  shown.
    3. Press SPEED to complete the programming  pro cess.

    Off-Hook Preference
    If  your phon e h as b een programmed f or  Off -Hook  Preference, 
    you will access  an outside line  or a  feature by g oing  off-h ook or 
    pr ess ing  t he ON/ O FF but ton.
    To  access an internal  intercom  dial tone, while  Off-Hook 
    Preference is  enabled:
    1. Pr es s y o u r pre-programmed  ICM flexible button (LED 
    li ghts s te ady) , or  di al  your  own  thr ee -di gi t  inter com 
    numbe r. ( Do not lif t  hands et or pres s ON/OFF  button 
    be fore  di al ing  in te rc om n umbe r).
    2. Di al  an  int er nal  s tat i on or  fe at ure  acce ss  code.
    Off-Hook Preference Programming
    If  your phone is p rogramm ed  for  Off -Hook  Preference, a nd you 
    have the  ability to enable  or  change the  prime flexible  button:
    1. Di al  [6 91 ].
    2. Dial the two-digit button number (refer  to  diagram).

    Off-Hook Voice Over (OHVO)
    While off -hook  on a  call (C O  or  Intercom),  this  feature allows 
    you to rece iv e a voice announce me nt through the  ha ndse t 
    receiver  without interrupting the  existing call. You may then 
    respond to the calling party  using CAMP-ON procedures to talk 
    to  the  ca ll ing  par t y or  use  S il ent  T ext  Me ssa gin g t o r esp ond t o 
    the  c a ll ing par t y vi a LCD Di spl ays .
    The  c al li ng  st at ion  is  pl ac ed  in  a  one- ti me  DND  mode  upon  
    ini t iat i ng t he  voi c e- over .  One -T ime  DN D c a nnot  be  tog gle d 
    during the OHVO call. The station receiving the OHVO call must 
    be off- hook a nd in the “H” mode .
    Pla cing an Of f-Hook Voice Over (OH VO) Ca ll
    Whe n an  OH VO  st ati on  ca ll s  a bus y O HVO  st at i on, a nd a  bus y 
    tone is  received:
    1. The calling  OHVO station can dial  the OHVO code [628], 
    or  press the  OHVO flexible button (if pre-programmed) to 
    initiate  an  OHVO a nnounceme nt. T he  HOL D button LE D 
    flashes at  the called  OHVO station.
    2. The OHVO  receiving station receives a one  beep  warning 
    tone, the called OHVO station must be  in  the “H” mode, 
    and  then the calling OHVO party  may  begin  the voice 
    announcement to the called OHVO party.

    Responding to an Off-Hook Voi ce Over 
    (O HVO )
    To  re ply  to an  OHV O a nnounce ment,  the  OHVO re ceiving 
    station  may  respond to calling  station in one of three  (3) ways:
    1)  Usi ng t he  MUTE Button --  T he  OHVO  r ec e iv ing  st at ion  c an 
    then speak to the station  that  initiated the  OHVO.  The called 
    station  can still hear their existing call. This applies to CO calls 
    only. OHVO calls to station on intercom calls maintain the 
    present operation.
    -or -
    2)  Usi ng Silen t Text  Messagin g -- This feature is only available 
    to d igi t al  key t e rmi nal s, a nd t he c a ll ing  st at ion mu st  be a  dig it al  
    display terminal. The OHVO receiving station may press a pr e -
    programmed MESSAGE button to  respond to the voice over 
    announcement  without being released  from the  current call,
    (i. e.,  by  pr es sin g a  fle xi ble  b utt on pre-programmed for  the 
    mes sag e “IN MEETING”), the  calling station will receive this 
    mes sag e on  th e c a ll ing  st at ion’s L CD  dis pl ay.

    3)  Usi ng t he  Camp-On feature -- The OHVO receiving station 
    presses the flashing HOLD button to converse with the calling 
    st at ion.  Th e e xi st ing  c all  (C O  li ne)  goe s on  Exc l usi ve  Hol d 
    automatically.  This method, then follows Camp-On procedures 
    and oper at i on.

    Thi s fea tur e al lows  you, to pr ess  a but ton and have  t he sys te m 
    re cord  t he con ver sa ti on i n your  m ail box,  whi le  on  an i nt er nal /
    external ca ll. This  is d one  by crea ting a  conference  bridge 
    between  the caller, station,  and VM  port.

    While on  an external call:

    The LED flutters red  at 240 ipm during the setup and the 
    LCD displays as shown:
