    Call  Park

    Sy s t e m
    While  conne cte d to a n outside  line:
    1. Pr es s t he  pre-programmed T R AN S f le xib le  but ton . T he 
    caller is put on Exclus ive Hold.
    2. Dial the parking location  (430 to  437) or press the pre-
    programmed CALL PARK flexible button.  A  confirmation 
    to ne  s o u nds.
    If  yo u r ec e iv e a  bus y t o ne:
    Press the TRANS button twice and dial another  parking 
    loc a ti on,
    -or -
    Pr es s t he  CALL  PARK  fle xib le  but t on for  a  di ffe re nt 
    parking location.
    Re tr ie v in g a Park e d Call
    1. Lift the  ha ndse t or pre ss  the ON/OFF button.
    2. Pres s the  pound  [# ] ke y.
    3. Dial the parking location  (430 to  437) where the  call  was 
    par ke d, or  pr es s t he  pre-programmed CALL PARK  flexible 
    but ton.
    Pe r s on a l
    While  conne cte d to a n outside  line:
    1. Press the TRANS button. The  caller is  put on Exclusive 
    Hol d.
    2. Di al  Pe rs onal  Par k code  [4 38 ]  or p re ss pre-programmed 
    PERSO NA L PA RK fl exi bl e b utt on.  A  dia l  tone  wi ll  be  he ar d.

    Call  P ic kup
    You can  answ er  a  call  r in ging  at  an othe r  te le phone  us ing 
    Directed or Group  Pickup.
    Directed Pickup

    2. Press the PICK-UP flexible button to answer the  call.
    Group Pickup
    Whe n i nte rcom  tone  ri ngin g, transf erre d outsi de  li ne  ringi ng, 
    recall  ringing, or initially  ringing call is heard at an unattended 
    te le pho ne :
    1. Lift the  ha ndse t or pre ss  the ON/OFF button.
    2. Di al  [#0 ], or pr ess  t he PI CK- UP  fl exi bl e but ton to be 
    connected  to the  ca llin g pa rty.
    Call  Tran sf er
    Outside lines ca n be tra nsferred  from one p hone  to  another 
    within the  system. The transfer can be either screened 
    (announ ce d) or unsc r ee ned to ei th er  an idl e  or busy  st at ion , or  
    an A C D/UCD  Gro up or  Hunt  Gr oup.
    Answering a Screened Transfer
    Y our int e rc om wil l be si gnal ing  ac c or din g t o t he int er c om 
    si gnal  sw it ch pos it i on.
    1. Answer the intercom and receive the transfer notice.
    2. Pr es s O UT SI DE  LIN E or  f las hin g LOO P but t on on h old.
    You  MU ST hav e ac cess to the  sp eci fic outsid e li ne  o r a 
    L OO P butt on to do  a  d ire cte d call  p ick up.
    You mu st b e in the same Pickup gro up as the ring ing 
    te lep hone  to pi cku p the  c all .
    You MUS T  hav e acc es s  t o the  s pe cifi c outs ide  lin e or 
    LOOP button  to use Gr oup C all Pi cku p.
    If  the  D ire ct T rans f e r fe atu re is  en abl ed, th e s cre en ed 
    transfe r will  go di rec tly t o the  han dset. Y ou do n ot ha ve  
    to pre ss a LI NE or LOOP b utton  to answe r.

    Executive/Secretar y Transfer
    †If  you a re  de si gnat ed  th e E xec ut iv e s ta ti on a nd your  
    phone is busy or in DND, all calls will be routed  to  the 
    Se cre ta ry  st at ion .
    †If  you ar e t he de si gnat ed  Se cre tar y  sta ti on, you ca n si gnal  
    the  E xec ut ive  t hat  i s busy or in DND by u sin g t he Camp -
    On fea tur e.
    Inc oming C O Tran sfer
    While idle or on  an internal/external call and  an incoming or 
    transferred  CO call  is ringing at  your station:
    1. P lac e  t he  c urr ent  c a ll  on h old.
    2. Di al  th e I NC  CO  XS FR code  [6 3 9]  or  pre ss  t he pre-
    programmed I NC  CO  XS FR fl ex ibl e  but ton.
    3. Press a DSS, Gro up button, or dial the three-digit station 
    numbe r or group  numb er. The  cal l is  automati ca ll y 
    tr ans fer r ed  to t hat  d est i nat ion.
    4. You can then  return to the call  placed  on hold.
    PBX/ CENTREX Transfer
    While connected to an outside  line  (PBX/Centrex):
    1. Pr es s t he  FL AS H bu tt on. Tr ans fer  di al  t one  is  he ard.
    2. Di al  PBX/Cent r ex  st ati on n umbe r.
    3. Hang  up to complete the  transfer.
    Screened Transfer
    While  conne cte d to a n outside  line:
    1. Press the station button where call  is to  be transferred  (if 
    progra mmed  on your telephone), or pres s  the T RANS  
    but ton and dia l st ati on numbe r.
    The called extension  signals according to the intercom 
    si gnal  sw it ch pos it ion .

    2. Whe n t hat  ex te nsi on a nswer s,  announc e  t he  tr ans fer.
    3. Hang  up to complete transfer.
    Transfer Search
    When attempting to locate  a party:
    1. Pr es s a  st at i on DS S b utt on t o s ign al  the  s ta ti on or  pr es s 
    the  T RAN S b utt on a nd d ial  de si re d s ta ti on.
    2. If the  station is  unavailable,  press another station DSS 
    button to e nte r a  new  sta tion numb er or  pre ss  the  TRANS  
    but ton twi ce and dia l the  s tat i on numb er.
    3. When called station is  answered, hang up; transfer  is 
    complete.
    Unscreened Transf er
    Whe n th e called e xtens ion b egins to signa l, h ang up  to transf er 
    the ca ll (recall timer  beg ins  counting ).
    Call er ID  Na me/ Nu mber
    Thi s fea tur e al lows  you to prog ram  a fle xib le  but t on t o vi e w 
    bot h th e numb er  and  name  on t he LC D whe n r ec e ivi ng a  Cal l er  
    ID  CO  c al l.  Whe n t he  fea tur e  is  ena bl ed,  the  fl ex ibl e  but ton  LED  
    is lit solid and the  name and number is displayed. 
    Dur ing  th e ca ll :
    Press the flexible  button  to view normal call information.
    The top line of the LCD displays the  number  of the  caller 
    and  the  bo tt o m l ine  o f  t he LC D di sp lays  t he  name .

    The  c al li ng s ta ti on t one  mode  opt io n al lows  a  ca ll in g st at ion  to  
    override a called station’s “H” or “P” i nte r co m  bu t t o n se tt i ngs.

    1. Di al  [6 #].
    2. Dial th e three -digit  sta tion e xtens ion  or  pre ss  the  DSS  
    button  of desired station.  Call  tone rings station.
    Camp-On
    If  a  station is  in  DND , only the  attenda nt  can C amp- On  using 
    the  A t te ndan t O ve rr i de  fea tu r e.
    If  t he s ta ti o n i s  bu sy  and  yo u  wi sh  to   al er t  the m t o  y o u r  c all :
    Press the CAMP ON button.  Called station receives one 
    bur st  o f  ri ngi ng. Wai t  fo r  t hei r  re spo n se.
    When the  called party answers:
    Consu lt with  calle r  or  hang u p to tran sfe r  the  call.
    Answering a   Camp-On
    If  you a re  on a  conne cte d call,  he ar  one  burs t  of mute d ringing, 
    and  your CAMP-ON button is f las hing, y ou hav e a  call  waiting 
    for  you.
    To answe r:
    1. Pr es s t he  CA M P -O N b utt on.  Any  outs id e l i ne y ou ar e 
    connected  to  is  placed  on hold. You ma y consult with the  
    st at ion  pla c ing  th e c a ll .
    2. Pres s f la shing OUTS ID E LINE  button if call is  be in g 
    transferred.

    							26 CO Line Queuin g
    If you  do not have  a CAMP-ON  button, either:
    Go on- hook w ith pres ent ca ll and  Ca mp-On will ring 
    thr o u gh.
    -or -
    Place outs id e CO call on hold, then g o on-hook.  Camp -On 
    will ring  through.
    CO Lin e Queuing
    If  you  see  t hat  a  par t icul ar  out si de  li ne  is  bus y and  you  wis h t o 
    be  pl aced  on a  l ist  w ait i ng for  t hat  l in e t o b ecome  av ai lab le :
    1. Pr es s t he  de si re d bu sy O UTS ID E  LIN E b utt on or  PO OL 
    but ton.  Rece iv e b usy  tone .
    2. Pr es s t he  pre-programmed LINE QUEUE flexible button.
    3. Replace the  handset or press the ON/OFF button.
    To Answer a Queue Call Back
    If  you  hear  Q ueu e C al l Ba ck r ing ing,  and  an  outs ide  l ine  f or t he  
    LI NE  GROUP or  a  LO OP b utt on y ou que ued  is  r api dl y fl as hing:
    1. Lift the  ha ndse t or pre ss  the ON/OFF button.
    2. Press the flashing OUTSIDE LINE button or LOOP button 
    to  answe r.
    A station can queue only one line at a time.

    CO Ring Tones
    The  ring  tone s ig nal  use d to notify s ta tions  of an  in co ming  call 
    can b e cha nged by  ea ch station  user  to  provid e d is tinctive 
    ri ngi ng a mong a  group of  station s.
    To  sel e ct  a  di st inct i ve  ri ng t one  for  a  st at ion:
    1. Di al  pr o gra m c o de  [6 95 ].  The  di spl ay  sho ws :
    2. Enter two-digit  tone number from  00 to 36  (as  shown  in 
    “CO Ring Tone Table”).  The  sp eak er  soun ds a  st ea dy t one  
    tha t  c o rr el at es  to   the  t wo -d igi t  ent r y.

    3. When the  desired  tone is  selec ted, press the SPEED 
    button  to  save this as the  tone to be presented when the 
    station  is  to ne rung.  The  two-digit tone  numb er will 
    di spl ay i n t he  lowe r  le ft  c or ner  of  LC D d is pla y.
    Conference
    Conference Combinations
    A  maxi mum  of fi ve  8-pa rty conf er ence s ca n be  e stabl is hed  in 
    the  s yst em.  Howe ve r,  an  indi vi dual  c onf er enc e  cannot ha ve  
    more than  five  external (ou tside) parties.
    Exampl es:

    †Seven  internal parties with one external  party
    †Thr ee  i nte rn al  and  fiv e e xt er nal  pa r ti es
    Estab lishing a Conference
    1. Lift the  ha ndse t.
    2. Select intercom s ta tion or d ial desired ou ts ide pa rty. 
    When called party answers,  press the pre-programmed 
    CON F f le xibl e  but ton .
    3. Select another ou ts ide line or intercom  station  to  add 
    nex t con fer enc e  pa rt y.
    4. Pr es s t he  CO NF  but ton  agai n a nd r ep eat  s te ps  3  and 4  i n 
    a c ycle, until all parties  are contacted.
    5. Whe n l ast  pa r ty  ans wer s, p re ss  CON F b utt on t wi ce. A l l 
    parties are connected.

    Exiting a  Conference (Con troller Only)

    †Press the ON/OFF button to ON. Press the  MUTE button, 
    and re pl ace the  han dse t (to monit or  a co nfer ence ).

    †Pres s HOLD  button  to p lace outside  parties on h old.  Hold  
    ti me r s ta rt s.  If  o ne o f  the  t wo  par t ie s i s i nte rn al,  tha t p ar t y 
    is  dr oppe d.
    -or -
    †Pr es s t he  CO NF  but ton,  th en h ang u p or  pr es s t he  ON /
    OFF button to leave the other conference  parties  still 
    connected  in an  unsup ervised conference.  The CONF 
    but ton  LED  fl ashe s  and  ti mer  s ta r ts.  The r e i s  a wa rni ng 
    tone before  the other parties are dropped.
    Re-entering a Conference
    Whe n t he c ontr ol le r re -en te rs  t he co nfer en ce , the  di sc onne c t 
    ti me r is re se t.
    †To  re -e nte r  a m onitore d conf erence,  lift ha ndse t.
    †To  re -e nte r  a c onf er enc e  pl ac ed  on hol d,  re pea t  st eps  for  
    es ta blishing a confe re nce.
    †To  re -e nte r  an u nsupe rvised  confe re nce, lift  hands et a nd 
    pr ess  fl ash ing  CON F b utt on.  The  CON F b utt on l i ghts  
    st ead y an d a  confir ma ti on t one  sounds .
    Termina ting a Conf erence
    To terminate a Conference, the conference initiator must be 
    ac t ive l y i n t he  c onfer en ce :
    R epl ac e  hand se t  o r p re ss  th e O N/ OF F  bu tt o n t o  O FF.
    F or co nfer enc es  inv olv in g anot her  s tat ion,  i t may be  
    n ece ssa ry to p ress the  fla sh ing  C ONF b utton  after 
    going on-hook.
