▶ English ▶ 4. Select the field at the top, press ENTER E, and then set IP Mode to Manual. 5. Press the d button on your remote to go to the IP Address entry field, and then press ENTER E. 6. Enter the first portion of the IP Address (for example, 105) into the first entry field using the number keys on your remote. Press the right arrow button to go to the next field. 7. Enter the next portion of the IP Address. Press the right arrow button to go to the next field. 8. Repeat the entry process for each field in the IP Address. NIf you make a mistake when entering a number, re-enter the number to correct it. You can also press the up or down arrow button to change the number one unit at a time.

Repeat the same entry process for Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS Server. 12. When done, select OK at the bottom of the page, and then press ENTER E. The network test screen appears and the verification process starts. When the connection has been verified, the “Internet is connected successfully.” message appears.

▶ English ▶ This TV supports the IEEE 802.11a/b/g and n communication protocols. Samsung recommends using IEEE 802.11n. When you play video over a network connect\ ion, the video may not play smoothly. NNOTE ●To use a wireless network, your TV must be connected to a wireless IP sharer (either a router or a modem). If the wireless IP sharer supports DHCP, your TV can use a DHCP or static IP address to connect to the wireless network. ●Select a channel for the wireless IP sharer that is not currently being used. If the channel set for the wireless IP sharer is currently being used by another device nearby, this will result in interference and communication failure.

▶ English ▶ ■ Automatic Network Setup Most wireless networks have an optional security system that requires devices that access the network to transmit an encrypted security code called an Acce\ ss or Security Key. The Security Key is based on a Pass Phrase, typically a wo\ rd or a series of letters and numbers of a specified length you were asked to enter when you set up security for your wireless network. If you use this method of setting up the network connection, and have a Security Key for your wireless network, you will have to enter the Pass Phrase during the the automatic or manua\ l setup process.

▶ English ▶ How to set up automatically1. Go to the Network Settings screen. (MENU m → Network → Network Settings → ENTER E. 2. Select Wireless (General), press ENTER E, and then press ENTER E again. 3. The Network function searches for available wireless networks. When done, it displays a list of the available networks. 4. In the list of networks, press the u or d button to select a network, and then press the ENTER E button twice. NIf the wireless router is set to Hidden (Invisible), you have to select Add Network and enter the correct Network Name (SSID) and Security key to establish the connection. If the router has security, enter the Security key (Security key or PIN).
