130 Relayed Transmission General Description The Relayed Transmission feature can save you time and transmission costs if you need to send the same documents to multiple G3 fax machines. This is especially true if the transmissions are long distance. To use Relayed Transmission, you must be part of a Relay Network built around a Relay Station. 131 Relay Network A Relay Network is basically a group of facsimiles programmed to communicate with each other via a Relay Station. In this case, the word programmed means that cer tain numbers have been stored in the memory of each machine. These numbers, also called parameters, are needed to identify the machines in the network.
