Operating Instructions 68 Sensor deactivation time Set the length of time during which the sensor cannot be triggered after saving images temporarily or transmitting them. This function is recommended to use not to send too many E-mails to a mobile phone. Note The internal memory cannot buffer images during Sensor deactivation time. Because of this, images taken before detection are not saved in internal memory, and so cannot be received. Depending on the settings for image buffer/ transfer, even if it is set to, for example, take 1 image per second, and store 10 images, before detection, because the images are not stored in internal memory, if the sensor detects something directly after the end of Sensor deactivation time, the images may not be saved. Ten seconds after the end of Sensor deactivation time, images can be received as specified in the settings. Setting Description

Operating Instructions 73[For assistance, please call: 1-800-272-7033] 11.Click [Go to Image Buffer/Transfer page]. The Image Buffer/Transfer page is displayed. Notes If you set a short interval to transfer image to a mobile phone, many E- mails may be sent to it leading to a large phone bill. Therefore, we recommend you to set a long interval. In an emergency situation, the E- mail transfer can be stopped by enabling privacy mode using a mobile phone (see page 26). Sensor transfer stops its operations until the camera finishes all transfers. For example, if the camera transfers 3 images per minute and 6 images in total with setting 1 minute of sensor deactivation time, the sensor will be in the following operation. Buffered images will be deleted by doing the following. Turning off the camera. Saving the settings of Image Buffer/Transfer or Date and Time. Executing [Restart], [Update Firmware] or [Reset to Factory Default]. Clicking [Delete Buffered Images] on the Image Buffer/Transfer page (see page 64).
