TONE button The () button is used for rotary pulse dial services and allows you to temporarily change from pulse to tone mode during a dialing operation. When you hang up, the unit will automatically return to the pulse mode.TONE FLASH button The button also allows you to use special features of a host exchange (if connected) or local telephone company services such as call waiting. If you do not need the above station, you can erase it (p. 32). 1 Press.
