    Preset memories
    When the AW‑RP555 is connecte\>d:
    Up to 10 settings \Rcan be registered a\Rnd called.
    The [1] to [10] buttons of [PRESET] \Rcorrespond to the u\Rnit’s 
    preset memories No.1 to No.10.
    wq Registering the se\>ttings in the pres\>et memories
    1	Display the picture to b\>e shot on the monit\>or.
    Operate the [PAN/TILT] lever and [ZOOM] lever to 
    determine the camera angle.
    Adjust the focus, iris, gain and white b\Ralance if they 
    need to be adjuste\Rd.
    2	\fold down the [MEMORY] button.
    The buttons among the [\R1] to [10] buttons of [PRESET] \R
    in which settings ca\Rn be registered no\Rw start blinking in 
    sequence.
    3	With the [MEMORY] button still held down, 
    press the button of the prese\>t memory number 
    in which the setting is t\>o be registered.

    In order for the white to be\R reproduced accurately, the ratio 
    between the three primary colors (RGB) is ad\Rjusted. If the 
    white balance has s\Rhifted out of adju\Rstment, not only w\Rill the 
    white be reproduced\R poorly but the color tones \Rof the entire 
    screen will also be\R degraded.
    wp This adjustment must be performed when using th\>e 
    unit f
    
    or the first time or when the\> unit has not been\> 
    used for a prolonged period.

    Either AWB (automatic white \Rbalance adjustment)\R which

    controller has been\R pressed or ATW (automatic tracking 
    white balance adjus\Rtment) which constan\Rtly adjusts the 
    white balance can be\R selected for adjustment purposes.

    When the AW‑RP50 is connected\>:
    Refer to the Operating Instructions of the contr\Roller.
    wp White balance may not be correctly s\Ret if the lighting\R 
    of the object is to\Ro weak.
    wpSince the unit has \Ra built‑in memory
    
    , the set white 
    balance will remain\R in the memory even if power is 
    turned off. Therefore, it is not necessa\Rry to reset the 
    white balance if th\Re color temperature of those obj\Rects 
    remains unchanged. However, it must be reset if th\Re 
    color temperature changes, such as when you move 
    from indoors to ou\Rtside, or vice versa.

    wq Auto tracking white adjustme\>nt (ATW)
    When the white bal\Rance adjustment is \Rset to “ATW”, the 
    white balance contin\Rues to be adjusted\R automatically all \R
    the time, and it is automa\Rtically corrected even when the 
    light source or colo\Rr temperature has changed t\Ro produce 
    completely natural pictures.
    This function works when “ATW” is selected instea\Rd of 
    “AWB

    The black level can be adjusted \Rwhen using a multiple

    Adjust the black level in accordance with\R the units and 
    devices used.

    3	Press the [R/\b GAIN\>/PED] button several 
    times so that the “PEDESTAL TOTAL” item is 
    displayed on the LCD panel.\>
    4	Turn the jog dial (ma\>in) and adjust the\> black 
    level to 5
     IRE (0.035 V).
    5	If necessary, adjust the iris a\>utomatically.
       Press the [IRIS] b\>utton several times to turn \>on 
    its lamp.
    When the AW‑RP555 is connecte\>d:
    1	Press the [IRIS] b\>utton several times to turn \>off 
    its lamp.
    Set the iris to the manual ([MANU]) mode.
    2	Turn the [LEVEL] di\>al of [IRIS] to sto\>p down 
    the lens iris.

    wwGenlock adjustment
    The genlock adjustment is pe\Rrformed to achieve phase 
    alignment by applying external synchronization\R (genlock) 
    when a multiple number of cameras will be used or\R when 
    the unit will be u\Rsed in combination \Rwith other devices.
    This unit supports the BBS signal a\Rs the genlock signal.
    Ask your dealer to perf\Rorm this adjustment.\R

    pictures are to be \Rswitched using a vid\Reo switcher or other

    composite signals.
    It need not be per\Rformed when the video\R output signals 
    have been set as compo\Rnent signals.
    The camera’s color phase is al\Rigned with the pro\Rgram output 
    (split color bar ou\Rtput) signals of a\R color special effect device 
    or other color tone\Rs that will serve as the reference.
    (The color phase can\R be adjusted more \Raccurately if a 
    vectorscope is used f\Ror the adjustment.\R)

    Basic operations
    Menus are displayed on the monitor \Rwhen the unit’s settings 
    are to be selected.\R
    The monitor is conn\Rected to the video \Rsignal output 
    connector.
    The basic menu operations involve displaying sub‑menus 
    from the Top Menu items, and selecting set\Rtings on the 
    sub‑menus.
    Some sub‑menus have menu items for performing more 
    detailed settings.
    The menu operations are conducted\R using the wireles\Rs 
    remote control.
    If a controller is \Rconnected, they can also be conduct\Red 
    using the controlle\Rr.
